As John draws his Gospel to a close, he gives us a glimpse of one more scene in Jesus’s life. After a long, unsuccessful night of fishing, the disciples are surprised to meet Jesus on the shore, where he not only provides a successful haul of fish for them but also cooks them breakfast. He was their Lord just as he is our Lord and he cares and provides for those who follow him. In this sermon Pastor Chris Lejeune preaches “The Breakfast” from John 21:1–14.
