I have been looking forward to speaking with Dr. Joy Arlene Renee Cox for months now. She is such a beautiful soul and I'm so grateful to her for all the work she's doing in the world. In today's conversation we talk about trusting our intuition, the lived experience of individuals with larger bodies, being brave in the healthcare industry, cultural biases, and discrimination against people with different bodies. In light of the current season of anti-racism, she also answers the question of "How can we use our intuition to be better allies and advocates?"
