John 17:1-5 is Jesus' prayer to His Father. In 17:3 He prayed that we may know the Father and Jesus Christ, which is eternal life. Eternal life Scriptures: John 3:16; 3:36; 5:24; 6:47; 10:27-29; 11:25-26. His followers were willing to give their lives. Base your faith on the Word of God, not on experiences. Jesus' second prayer was that we may be one as He and the Father are one (John 17:11). We were crucified with Christ.
