Weekend Teaching

Hello, Online Friends. This is Dick Foth saying, “Thanks for joining us this weekend for the fourth message in our series, GOD’S NATURE: Tracing His Fingerprints.” My message this week is FIELDS: Life on Display. We are looking at lessons to be learned from God’s design in the plant life on our planet---fields, orchards and gardens. I will have two enthusiastic video guests—a scientist and a farmer—to help us appreciate more fully the wonder of God’s creation!

Welcome to our weekend at Timberline Church - thanks so much for joining us, we’re glad you’re here! This weekend we continue our series, God’s Nature: Tracing His fingerprints, and we’re considering the theme of water, and seeing that our God the giver of life - and wants to bring His life and joy to others through us! We’re praying that this will be a life-giving experience for us all! As we consider our series his weekend, we will discover that water is so important in God’s Word that it is mentioned 722 times in the Bible, more often than faith, hope, prayer, and worship! The Bible frequently speaks of ‘living water’. So what is that? And if we’re called to be those who refresh others, what does that mean? We’ll also consider the challenge to live our lives as world changers and history makers!

Welcome to our weekend service! Thanks so much for joining us as we worship and dig into God’s word. This week we continue our teaching series, God’s nature: Tracing His Fingerprints - looking at what creation shows us about our creator. Jesus taught us to look at the ‘birds of the air’ - and we can learn about the God who made them as we do so. We’ll see that God cares for us - He cares for you! As we continue our series, we’re obeying a command that Jesus gave - look at the birds - and considering a story he told - the so-called Prodigal Son story. As we do, we’ll discover vital truths about God’s care, His grace, and His provision.

Hi, and welcome to Timberline. Thanks so much for joining us this weekend. We’re beginning a new teaching series, 'God’s Nature: Tracing His Fingerprints’. Summer is here, we can get out there and enjoy the beauty of Northern Colorado, but let’s ask - what does God’s Creation say about God’s character? This weekend we are looking out and up - at the Cosmos. As we consider God’s greatness, we sense the call to trust Him. He is also so very close, we can whisper to Him in prayer. And we will think about how we are called to live responsibly - the planet does not belong to us, we are tenants, not owners. Finally, we will consider to call to share our faith - Creation speaks of God, and we are called to live for Him and speak out for Him too! We trust you’ll be encouraged and inspired as we share together!

Hi everyone, and welcome to our weekend at Timberline Fort Collins. This weekend, we have standalone message - ‘Let’s Talk - healthy conflict’. In a world that has been so divided over the last couple of years, let’s think about how we can disagree agreeably, really hear each other, and get along in our diverse opinions. This weekend, we look at an episode in the lives of two of the greatest New Testament heroes - the apostles Paul and Barnabas. They changed the world, planted churches, endured persecution - and then fell out in a row over team selection. How can we disagree agreeably, and consider ‘hot topics’ thoughtfully and biblically, without shouting that only leads to soundbites? And thanks as ever for joining us.

Hi everyone and thanks so much for joining us this weekend. As we complete our “Healthy Minds” series, this weekend we are looking at the subject of worry. There is certainly no shortage of worry in the world Jesus has some radical things to say about it. Join us as we say, “Lord, teach us how to overcome worthless worry”. Jesus has some radical things to say about worry. Not all worry is wrong but there is a worthlessness about some worry which just chokes the joy out of life. We also need to understand the way that we think and react when the stress comes. As we end the series, “Healthy minds – God help us”, we affirm that we certainly need the Lord’s help in this area and thankfully, His help is available!

Hi everyone, and welcome to our online service. Fear is a word that we’re hearing a lot these days, in this turbulent and uncertain time that we are living in. So this week we will look at fear - is all fear wrong? Is fear always a result of a lack of faith? And how can we conquer unhealthy patterns of fear? We will look at an ancient story where a man faced overwhelming odds, his life and the life of his nation was in the balance - and how God strengthened him in the midst of his fears. In a day when fear is rampant, how should we respond when fear strikes - and can fear be helpful to us? Thanks so much for joining us!
