St. Louis Blues The Drop Podcast

The Blues took a 1-0 lead out of the first period and increased it to 3-1 early in the second period. However, the Cauncks would tie it at three in the 3rd period on a goal by Bo Horvat. Each team put two shots on goal in to the overtime period, but neither could score. The Canucks Josh Leivo won the game in the shootouts 6th round by putting the puck past Binnington for a Vancouver 4-3 win.

The Blues played a very strong first 50 minutes of this game. However, they stopped attacking the Islanders offensively and allowed 2 goals in the last 6 minutes of regulation.  Devon toews would get the overtime winning goal just 1 min 13 secdonds in to overtime. 

The Blues had a 3-2 lead in the second period. Only to watch it end in a 6-3 win by the struggling Canadians.

The Blues would start Jake Allen in goal for the first time this season and he struggled throughout the game. However, when the Blues needed him to make a big save he did. David Perron was the star of the game with 2 goals.  Ryan O'Reilly would add a goal plus three assist to lead the Blues to a tough victory.

Alex Pietrangelo gets the game winner and his 400th career point in the third period to lift the Blues over the Leafs.

These two teams played a 7 game series in the Westrern Conference semi finals last year and continued their great play in this game. Both Ben Bishop and Jordan Binnington were strong in the net. The Blues would take over the third period for a 3-2 win.

The Blues took an early 2-0 lead in this first game of the season, but fell to the Capitals in overtime 3-2.

The Bruins bombard Jordan Binnington with 17 shots in the first period. However, he stands tall in the period and the whole game. Only allowing one goal in the third period for a 2-1 win in Boston.

The Blues defense is much better in this huige game 4 victory. While Jordan Binnington shows why he will be one of the top candidates to win the 2019 Calder Trophy for the rookie of the year.

The Bruins were physical and took advantage of Blues mistakes and power play opportunities in route to a game 3 win.

The Blues win a back and forth game 3-2 on an overtime goal by Carl Gunnarsson just a few minutes in to overtime. The first 4 goals of the game were scored in the first period with each team getting two of those goals. The 2nd and 3rd periods were scoreless thanks to stellar goaltending from Jordan Binnington and Tukka Rask.

The Blues scored the first two goals of the game. However, mistakes by the defense and a bad goal given up by Jordan Binnington allowed the Bruins to come back and win 4-2. Lance breaks it all down in this episode of The Drop
