19/04/2019 Duration: 24minThe Blues allowed the Jets to tie this Stanley Cup first round series on Tuesday night in St. Louis at 2 games each. It looked like for the first two periods the Jets would break the tie in the series and take a 3-2 game lead, but the Blues came alive in the third period for 3 goals. The game winning goal was scored by Jaden Schwartz with just 15 seconds left in regulation. The Blues can end the series with a win in game 6 at home on Saturday evening.

They got their wish, but their offense was only able to get one puck past Jets goalie Connor Hellbuyck. The game would be scoreless in to the third period when Vladimir Tarasenko and Mark Scheifele would score for their respective teams to tie the game at 1-1 headed in to overtime. Kyle Connor would get the game winning goal in overtime to knot this series up at two games each.

The Jets exploded in the second period with three goals to take a 3-1 lead in to the third. The Blues tried to claw back in to the game, but the Jets added three more goals in the third in route to a 6-3 win.

The Jets power play was clicking and the Blues were getting scoring from all lines within their lineup. Entering the third period they were knotted at 3-3. Ryan O'Reilly put the game winner past Connor Hellebuyck just a few minutes in to the third period to secure the 4-3 win for the Blues.

The Blues would get an early goal in the second from Vladimir Tarasenko, but Chicago took a 2-1 lead out of the second period on a goal by Artem Anisimov. The Blues looked like a different teamm in the third period. After Chicago took a 3-1 lead just passed midway in to the third. The Blues would tie the score at 3-3 on goals by David Perron and Tyler Bozak. Neither team could score in overtime, but Jonathan Toews scored in the shootout to give the Blackhawks a 4-3 win.

Both teams played well in the game, but the Blues would get stellar goaltending from rookie Jordan Binnington and outscore the Kinights 3-1. The Blues took a 1-0 lead out of the first. Only to see William Karlsson tie it in the second period with a goal fifteen minutes and twelve seconds in to the period. O'Reilly would add a late goal in the second period and Zach Sanford finished the scoring with an early goal in the third period.
