The Blues allowed the Jets to tie this Stanley Cup first round series on Tuesday night in St. Louis at 2 games each. It looked like for the first two periods the Jets would break the tie in the series and take a 3-2 game lead, but the Blues came alive in the third period for 3 goals. The game winning goal was scored by Jaden Schwartz with just 15 seconds left in regulation. The Blues can end the series with a win in game 6 at home on Saturday evening.

The Blues needed a big game from both their goalie Jordan Binnington and defenseive unit. They got their wish, but their offense was only able to get one puck past Jets goalie Connor Hellbuyck. The game would be scoreless in to the third period when Vladimir Tarasenko and Mark Scheifele would score for their respective teams to tie the game at 1-1 headed in to overtime. Kyle Connor would get the game winning goal in overtime to knot this series up at two games each.

The Blues were happy to be home for game three of this playoff series. They went ahead late in the first period on a late goal by David Perron. The Jets exploded in the second period with three goals to take a 3-1 lead in to the third. The Blues tried to claw back in to the game, but the Jets added three more goals in the third in route to a 6-3 win.

The first game of this first round series was a goalie battle. Game two would not be. The Jets power play was clicking and the Blues were getting scoring from all lines within their lineup. Entering the third period they were knotted at 3-3. Ryan O'Reilly put the game winner past Connor Hellebuyck just a few minutes in to the third period to secure the 4-3 win for the Blues.

Time and time agin Jordan Binnington and Connor Hellebuyck made tremendous saves to keep their teams in this game. The Jets took a 1-0 lead in to the 3rd Period. Only to see the Blues tie it early in the 3rd period on a goal by David Perron and then win it late in the third on a goal from Tyler Bozak.

The Blues beat the Canucks 3-2 in a shootout and take first place for a few hours, but the Predators beat the Blackhawks to get the Central Division crown. Lance ends the podcast giving you his thoughts on the Blues vs Jets serious and the Blues chances in the playoffs.

The Blues and Flyers combined for 8 goals in the first period and the Blues would go in to the second period ahead 5-3. The Flyers were unable to add any more offense for the next two periods. While the Blues added two more goals. One in the second by Brayden Schenn and one in the third by Alex Steen.

The Blues allowed Chicago to dictate the play in the first period in route to a 1-0 lead on a goal by Jonathan Toews. The Blues would get an early goal in the second from Vladimir Tarasenko, but Chicago took a 2-1 lead out of the second period on a goal by Artem Anisimov. The Blues looked like a different teamm in the third period. After Chicago took a 3-1 lead just passed midway in to the third. The Blues would tie the score at 3-3 on goals by David Perron and Tyler Bozak. Neither team could score in overtime, but Jonathan Toews scored in the shootout to give the Blackhawks a 4-3 win.

In this episode Lance goes over the highlights of the big 3-2 win over the Avalanche. He ends the podcast with a discussion of what the Blues must and must not do to make a strong run in the upcoming playoffs.

After a very dissapointing loss to the Rangers on Friday. The Blues were looking for a much better effort in New Jersey. Although the Devils are out of the playoffs they almost spoiled the Blues hopes for redemption. The Blues took a 2-1 lead in the second period. Only to see the Devils tie it up on a goal by Joey Anderson less then a minute after the Blues took the lead. There would be no scoring in the third period. With just 3 seconds left in overtime Dunn got the game winner for the Blues. 

The Blues jumped ahead in the first period 2-0 on goals by Vladimir Tarasenko and David Perron, but that would be all of the pucks the Blues could get past Rangers goalie Alexandar Georgiev. The Rangers would tie the game up in the second period and go on to win 4-2.

The Blues and Knights came in to this game looking to continue their recent succes. Both teams played well in the game, but the Blues would get stellar goaltending from rookie Jordan Binnington and outscore the Kinights 3-1. The Blues took a 1-0 lead out of the first. Only to see William Karlsson tie it in the second period with a goal fifteen minutes and twelve seconds in to the period. O'Reilly would add a late goal in the second period and Zach Sanford finished the scoring with an early goal in the third period.
