A bird landed on the podium while Bernie Sanders was speaking in Portland Oregon. The crowd went wild, Bernie was visibly surprised and the bird just stood there. Trying to get over the Trump hump?  God luck!  The GOP is in a free-fall, they are NOT acting presidential in any way and Ted Cruz has come unhinged and his anger seems to be staged, practiced and rehearsed. T&Z will take a deep look inside the GOP presidential politics and how damaging they are right now.  Why can't they all just get along?  Bernie Sanders has an amazing weekend, but the media is still not giving him his due.

Terror attacks in Brussels.  Republicans pandering to AIPAC.  Primaries today could be the coronation Trump and Clinton. President Obama in Cuba and what that means going forward to the rest of the world. Also, Bill Clinton's unfortunate remark about the Obama legacy - which doesn't seem to be about the Obama legacy, but about the GOP Congress. The Right, along with Bernie Supporters don't seem to be interpreting it that way, so more disingenuous claims in politics. It's all in the name of winning, but what does it say about our relationship to the truth? 

Well, well, well, what is the GOP up to now?  What did the weekend teach us about the remaining candidates on the Right side of the aisle?  Will the SCOTUS battle boil over this week?  Will the primaries this week make things clearer on both side or will it cloud up the mess that exists. There is NEVER a lack of issues to discuss and T&Z are there to clarify, punctuate and inform.

Michigan Governor goes to Washington to testify on the #FlintWaterCrisis and literally gets his ass handed to him.  Yes, the EPA could have and should have done more, but it starts and stops with the state of Michigan and their elected leaders, and they failed miserably.  We'll also continue to look at SCOTUS nominee Judge Garland, GOP obstructionism and the pleas of the media to do the right thing. And finally, Donald Trump is an ongoing target of the GOP establishment, but when will they realize they are only helping him succeed?  Probably never!

If it's Wednesday, it's T&Z Talk and we have plenty to talk about.  Little Marco is out, Lying Ted is in denial, Gov. Kasich believes he has momentum, and Donald Trump again is the big winner of this Super Tuesday.  We'll also look at the candidacy of Bernie Sanders and discuss if there is ANY way forward for this great man, proud Progressive, and amazing candidate after Hillary Clinton's amazing showing on Tuesday.  Oh, what a night!

Another Tuesday and another chance for a surprise or a letdown for both the GOP and the Dems. Will Bernie surprise in the Midwest and will Trump cement his lead in the delegate race?  Is Marco Rubio toast and what will Ted Cruz do as the days turns him on his head?  And John Kasich? Politico and Lawrence O'Dennell clock Donald Trump's lies at one every five minutes after examining over four hours of speeches and appearances. And the media does nothing about it.  Well, does it really matter?  T&Z will not only give you their take but chances are they will not be on the same side on every issue. 

Violence, inciting rhetoric, hatred, bias, racism, anger, and denial, and that's not a movie scenario but the recent presidential race.  T&Z will also look at other candidates on both sides of the aisle including Little Marco, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, and so much more.

If you were watching the GOP debates last night, you may have noticed something missing. There was no screaming; none of the candidates were insulting other candidates; there was a level of civility; and the commentators, pundits, and even some audience members opined on the “substantive nature” of last night’s debate. After all, none of the four candidates actually pulled their pants down at any time during the show. And while the exchanges may have appeared to be ripe with substance as they delved into serious and concerning topics like the economy, Social Security, trade, the environment, education, defense spending, and climate change among other things, it was far from being substantive. As Ezra Klein from Vox put it: But the things the candidates actually said were, by turns, wrong, misleading, misinformed, confused, or ridiculous. The previous night was another debate between Clinton and Sanders. This time on Univision and CNN and partly in Spanish, which may have caused some in the GOP to lose their minds. We go over the debate that was both contentious and interesting - dare we say informative.
