I am learning about the me I am now. I have learned that I like me. I am enough! When a match doesn't work out, I look for the positive learning experience and take that with me with an open mind for whatever or whoever might be interesting next. Do you have the next step of your life planned and then things change? There is an uncomfortable feel. One of excitement, but also of nerves and chaos. Sometimes we need to not plan and just trust the next step will arrive in its own time. • 7 Balances: Creating a welcomed AutoPilot

    17/05/2017 Duration: 26min

When did we start believing Auto-Pilot is always negative?  Here are 7 life balance areas to keep me focused as I reach for auto-pilot. I actually believed I was going backward into Auto-Pilot and realized, it is what I need for this next season. Today was the Professional Learning Community session "True Colors" and today I also ran across a list of 7 personal important balance areas that I listed many months before. These balances are consistent ones I list as important. It's just the focus and the specific action areas in them sometimes change. I can appreciate my "true colors" and accept my areas of balance so I can grow in them. What are the areas of your life where balance is important? Are they consistent over time?  Are you accepting of yourself? If you want to learn more about True Colors personality, message me and we'll find a way to connect.      "Fly" or perhaps "Glide" for a little bit.

  • Quick reflection and update on where I am now

    04/05/2017 Duration: 11min

Are their times you are busier than others and you can't avoid auto-pilot? It's needed for survival.. a future podcast. lol   I'm going into that season at work and just wanted to take a quick moment to reflect on what I've accomplished by living intentionally and give an update to regular listeners on what's going on in multiple areas of my life. Did I stick to healthy eating? Am I still practicing yoga? How did the first Professional Learning Community go at work?  I'd love to hear your inspirational and intentional moments. Leave a FB comment, message me, or leave a comment on itunes.

  • Developing a broader team: Professional Learning Community Launch

    23/04/2017 Duration: 24min

From one conversation to another and another, a spark of insight created what will become our agency's Professional Learning Community. Have you wondered how you can get your teams/departments to talk more to one another? We will try a PLC, a community/team of professionals that will share their personal insights as we read books and participate in professional development opportunities. We will use these first 6 sessions to go through the forming, storming and hopefully move into the norming stage. All of these stages are necessary to learn about each other, our team make-ups, our shared visions, and build trust. We can transition from the norming stage to the performing stage of teams and begin to discuss deeper team topics and move agendas at more optimum levels. This is my hope anyway! Please share if you have other ways to build work communities. I love my work leaders for supporting this idea and know we already have a good place to start.

  • Moving Past Self Doubt

    21/04/2017 Duration: 16min

Have you wondered "Why me?" Had something happening in your life and wondered where is it going? Perhaps the unsettled broken feelings that happen are our subconscious telling us to slow down and TRUST that it will all work out. It is when we are vulnerable and feel weakened that we draw on our faith and remember to rely on God's plan. To be quiet and listen...  How nice it is to play this over for myself... cause the battle remind ourselves we don't need to have it all figured out happens more than once in my life.  Are there messages you play over to yourself? Times when you needed to be quiet and listen and trust?

  • Broken Feelings Happen

    21/04/2017 Duration: 04min

Ask folks about me and you'll hear words like positive, encouraging, determined, caring, and energetic. I like those descriptions, but I'm also real and have moments where I feel broken but have no specific reason... I wanted to share this because too often we see the best in someone because that is what they show us and we forget that we are all "real" and have our moments of sadness, tiredness, and maybe even brokenness. I allow myself to have these moments... I just don't get stuck there.. listen to another of my podcast "Moving past self doubt" to leave this podcast on a positive note and with the energy you normally come here to get.

  • Self Control: Short term reward revisited

    14/04/2017 Duration: 13min

Life got busy and I looked up to see short term rewards becoming long-term burdens. How do I stop this? How do I recognize I need self-control? Better yet, hold myself self accountable to be intentional and stop or clean up that short term action so I can look further at what I want from life. My debt needs to be controlled and spending wained.. My eating needs curbing before I wreck the diet and weight loss from the beginning of the year. Can you relate? Are there techniques or places of strength you draw from to keep you on the path you? Share with me in the comments.

  • Attitude of Gratitude: Blessed you are needed

    07/04/2017 Duration: 09min

Have you had a really busy day and dreaded the number of "to do's" on your list? I'll get going, but I can't wait to be back here in the bed and have it all done... Once you get going and accomplish the first item, gain confidence, and gain positive thoughts that you are able to accomplish the many items and accomplish them with a blessing. an "Everyday" can be a "Blessing Day". It is good! I have a purpose and what I do is needed, the energy will come when we value our "to do" list. Each day is a blessing so why not FLY each day!

  • Strength_The Clark Women examples and Faith

    19/03/2017 Duration: 27min

I wonder if you think about the leading ladies or men in your life that set examples of strength. How do you define strength? For me, it is feeling deep moments of trouble and heartache and going forward with a smile, still encouraging one another, and seeking God in times of sadness and joy! I've been blessed by strong women in my family, the Clark family, especially. To this day, I keep learning about, witnessing it and appreciating their strength and support. I also know that God has provided them strength and peace at times unimaginable to me. Let us never forget we each can draw on God, the father, son, and holy ghost. It is simply having faith and asking for him to come into your life. For those that doubt religion... I'd rather believe and be wrong, than not believe and go through this life without God, who provides me joy, strength, comfort, and courage! For today's podcast, I'll just say don't FLY alone!

  • The Yoga Journey Begins!

Anything like the roller coaster joyous experience I did? If you have been thinking about one and said you would try it, have you tried it or still talking about it? Today may be your day to set a goal and Fly!

Even Parent's need to be "checked"! Has your child explored a hobby or interest that didn't match with yours? When Jack began painting custom colors on shoes, I didn't automatically support him. Fortunately, mom got "checked" into his creativity and supporting his passion. • Motivating Yourself Through to Goal Completion

    09/03/2017 Duration: 14min

Ever choose a necessary goal that wasn't so pleasant?  I did and was ready to give up and let it go, but sometimes a goal is necessary. Not all things in life we like, but we must complete. Can you relate to my process of completing my living will and power of attorney?  I had seen firsthand with my mom the need for both documents, which had to be used during a time of unfortunate health declines. I want to be be prepared for my children as she was prepared for me to help her. Won't you consider this goal if new to you or maybe you can be encouraged to continue what you've started. Set out and Fly through even the not so pleasant goals.

Reaching back and reading Who Moved My Cheese, I began to wonder what character in the story did I relate to now in my life. Do we always scurry around on autopilot or can we choose to break it and move forward in our journey?
