    Today on the podcast we have Iris Zimmerman, an American Olympic fencer turned Performance Coach. Iris is an Olympian, Mother, and Performance Coach. At 14 years old, she became the first Fencing World Champion from the United States. Over the next 21 years, she had a successful fencing career -- becoming a NCAA Champion for Stanford University and making the 2000 Olympic team. Her accomplishments and career in fencing eventually earned her a place in the United States Fencing Hall of Fame.     Dr. Chris Stanley earned his BA from the University of Illinois-Chicago, where he was also an all-conference track athlete.     Dr. Anne Shadle is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, where she earned her B.S. in Exercise Science. During her undergraduate career, Shadle was a member of the Huskers’ national powerhouse track and field team. She was an NCAA National Champion in both the indoor mile and the outdoor 1500 meters.
