The Agenda: Premier League Return Date Confirmed | Liverpool Could Win Title At Everton

And that means Liverpool could be crowned champions in their first game back... against Merseyside rivals Everton at Goodison Park! The campaign will restart with matches between Manchester City and Arsenal, and Aston Villa and Sheffield United. Those two matches are the ‘games in hand’ that will take all 20 Premier League clubs up to 29 fixtures played. The first full round of matches will be staggered across the following weekend – including the Merseyside derby. And should City lose to Arsenal on the Wednesday, Liverpool would seal the title with victory over Everton.
