  • 130: Simplify Getting More Clients with Dan Kuschell

    04/06/2018 Duration: 53min

Today’s conversation with serial entrepreneur, Dan Kuschell, has to be one of the most value-packed episodes I’ve had to date. Not only does he take us through his childhood journey and the money mindset that went along with it, but he shares what initially got him hooked on self-development and as a result, propelled him into his crazy successful career today.               Having started 11+ business along the way, Dan is completely transparent sharing that his path has been far from perfect with struggles along the way, but he’s grateful for each as he’s always learned from them.               With so many actionable tips, stories and takeaways, this episode is going to blow your mind and possibly help you acquire more clients – and more success! I can’t wait to hear what you think!               --   Question Highlights: What’s your favorite quote? What’s one of your superpowers? What’s one thing you’re afraid of? • 129: My Millionaire Mornings

    31/05/2018 Duration: 12min

I’m addressing another popular question today and that’s, “What do your mornings look like?” Let me start by saying that I think having rituals (whether they’re in the morning, mid-day or evening) are vitally important to a person’s success. These rituals are crucial to my and Lori’s self-care, and let’s be real, our sanity! Personally, mornings work the best for me.   “There is no easier time to take control of your day than in the first 30 minutes of the day.”   Think about it… the first 30 minutes of your day are the easiest to control. For me, it’s the first two hours, but that’s the time that Lori and I have carved out of our day as “protected time.” We put ourselves first so we can be the best versions of ourselves for others the rest of the day.   Here’s what the first part of the day looks like for me:   Wake up and immediately say my mantra: “I am happier, healthier, wealthier and more fit than I was yesterday.” 60-90 second prayer of what I’m grateful for. This list varies and is very child-like,

  • 128: From Welfare to Millionaire and the Tools That Got Him There with Christian Mickelsen

    28/05/2018 Duration: 01h07min

I’m so grateful for all the amazing people I’ve met through my mastermind with Lewis Howes, and today I’m fortunate enough to talk with another fellow masterminder, Christian Mickelsen. I love diving deeper into his story as he tells us more about being on welfare as a child and how that lack of money made him feel then and how it affected his money mindset later on. Christian obviously overcame that lack mindset and it happened when he realized that he’s always been “rich” – just not in the traditional way. He now helps others work through their feelings and fears through his coaching and Abundance Unleased events. This is one of the most empowering conversations I’ve had to date and I know that his insights will help propel you to the next level of abundance in your life and business.  -- Question Highlights: What’s your favorite quote? What’s one of your superpowers? Who is someone who’s changed your life? What’s one of your favorite accomplishments? What’s one regret you have? Can you tell us a little mo

  • 127: A Controversial Lesson to Share

    24/05/2018 Duration: 11min

Today’s topic may be considered controversial by some and I may get judged for it. On the other hand, some may actually like it and have a breakthrough. Whichever reaction this episode sparks in you, I just want to clarify that my podcast is all about understanding how wealthy people think and giving you alternate ways of thinking when it comes to your views on money and how you want to embrace and pursue it. The following story is just one way to personify how wealthy individuals think and act vs. how the everyday person does.   So, Lori and I went surfing this past weekend to recharge. We drove down to the beach, unloaded our boards and proceeded to the parking ticket line. Because it was a weekend, you can imagine the line was long (about 11 people deep from our position). Quickly figuring out that it was taking each person around 5 minutes to get their ticket, I knew I didn’t want to waste nearly an hour to get ours. So, I walked over to the ticket attendant and asked what the fine would be if we didn’t h

  • 126: STOP Trading Time For Money with Lori Kennedy

    21/05/2018 Duration: 55min

If you’ve never heard of today’s guest, Lori Kennedy, you’re going to want to start following her ASAP! Lori and I met in our mastermind with Lewis Howes, and from day one I’ve been astounded by all she’s accomplished so far. As a single mother running multiple, wildly successful businesses, you’ll likely notice as I did throughout this episode just how impressive Lori’s level of resourcefulness, grit and intention is. From navigating a failed business and having kids to creating massive levels of success and giving equally, Lori admits to times of struggle, but she’s kept going anyway. She is unapologetic about living an extraordinary life with her kids and takes great pride in helping others do the same through her programs and through her philanthropic efforts. In fact, in this episode alone, there are nuggets of knowledge that may just help you take your success to the next level. You don’t want to miss it!  --   Question Highlights: What’s your favorite quote? What’s one of your superpowers? What’s one

  • 125: When is Enough, ENOUGH?

    17/05/2018 Duration: 11min

Have you ever heard the question, “When is enough, enough?” It’s a question I’ve gotten before and I totally understand why people ask it, but I’ll be honest…I don’t like it. The question instantly makes me feel judged even though it’s generally someone’s curiosity about what drives you. But the more people ask the question, the more you start to question yourself. Am I working too much?   Lori and I talked about this very question the other day on our 10-mile walk. Yes, it’s a long walk, but it’s a great way for us to connect and also hash out questions/issues like this one. So we determined that for many, the answer is no, it will never be enough. And it’s because that particular person is geared to keep going and it’s that drive that keeps them motivated.   “If we lost our ambition to create abundance, there’d be no extra abundance to share.”   I want you to think of all the good things being done in this world right now – a great majority of it is from people who have an abundance. Imagine if this “well”

  • 124: How Massive Forgiveness Can Bring You Wealth with Mahsheed Barghisavar

    14/05/2018 Duration: 51min

I’m certain that today’s guest, Mahsheed Barghisavar, and I were meant to cross paths so she could be a guest on the show. Having met at my wife’s Bliss Project event earlier this year, I started following her on social media only to find out what a successful real estate professional and philanthropist she was! But what most people don’t know is that Mahsheed didn’t start out on top… her success didn’t actually come until after she’d filed for bankruptcy. After landing the “dream” client and relying on her faith and other sources of inspiration, today Mahsheed is one Las Vegas’ top real estate professionals and shows no signs of slowing down. After all, it’s with this wild success that she is able to partner regularly with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help kids’ dreams come true. Tune in to hear all the details on how Mahsheed is inspiring and creating a ripple effect with her success – I think you’ll be surprised at the wild journey it too to get her there!               --   Question Highlights: What’s

  • 123: Does Money Bring You Happiness

    10/05/2018 Duration: 11min

Today I’m talking about the question I probably get asked the most in regard to my podcast, and that’s, “does money bring you happiness?” This can be a complicated question, but I’ll try to break down the complicated (not-so-complicated) answer.   Money does indeed impact your happiness, but only to a certain degree. I’m a firm believer that money magnifies who you already are. If you’re a giving person, you’ll give more when you have more money. If you typically give less, you’re not likely to give any more when you do have more money. You with me?   “An unhappy person with bad habits simply becomes a wealthier person with bad habits.”   The money doesn’t change the person – it just changes their income. But here’s what money can do…   “Having wealth increases the number of opportunities that you will find happiness.”   On a scale of 1-10, there’s never going to be a 12 – more money doesn’t change that. But there can be multiple occurrences of a 10. Money ensures that you’ll have opportunities to have “10”

  • 122: Creating More WEALTH Through TRIBE with Lori Harder

    07/05/2018 Duration: 48min

I’m always excited to interview my wife, Lori Harder, but today on the eve of the official launch of her book, A Tribe Called Bliss, I’m ecstatic and so, so proud. As the subjective husband, of course I would say this book is a must-read, but because I never sugar-coat anything and am brutally honest sometimes (even with my wife), objectively I would say the exact same thing. Today, I’m asking questions all about Lori’s new book – why she wrote it, who it’s for and how it can help you get your message out in the world with the help of a supportive tribe. Thank you all so much for your support. If you buy the book and love it, it would mean so much to us if you would write a review, share and/or gift the book to someone else. Cannot wait to hear all the epic tribe-building stories!               --   Question Highlights: Why did you write A Tribe Called Bliss? How did you write this book with your background/upbringing? Who is this book for? How did you get yourself in the position to tell your personal stor

  • 121: The Middle of Your Mindset Journey

    03/05/2018 Duration: 08min

Let me start this off by saying I love receiving direct messages on Instagram and hearing all about your money mindset journeys. It helps me keep a pulse on what my listeners are struggling with and also what they’re excelling at. So thank you in advance for keeping the messages coming.   So, the other day I received a message from a woman who’s had a great start with her money mindset journey, but she posed a great question… “What does the middle of the journey look like?” She’s done the work necessary in the beginning and is finally at a point where she accepts and wants to celebrate money…so now what? What should she be doing?   This is such a great question – and here’s the answer:   “The middle of your money mindset journey is doing the work to create it.”   Now that you have the right frame of mind, you’re able to attract and accept more wealth. It’s time to “do the work to create your wealth.” This means starting your business, figuring out that extra way to earn income or finding that side hustle th

  • 120: Creating More Certainty in Your Money Mindset with David TS Wood

    30/04/2018 Duration: 01h08min

I am so inspired and proud to call today’s guest, David Wood, a friend and mentor. I’ve learned countless lessons from him over the years and today he shares even more with you. Leaving home at age 15 with only $500 to his name, he spent many years backpacking and eventually landed in Canada. Throughout his journey, he learned early on to let go of the things that weren’t working and move on to the next. This practice (along with the gift of certainty) served him well and he now coaches thousands of other people who are looking to become more successful and make it an impact at the same time. David is unapologetic about his success and life, and has a heart of gold – making it a point to give in some way, shape or form, on a daily basis. Tune in to hear all about his journey so far and also what he uncovers about me and my money mindset that I never even thought about!               --   Question Highlights: What’s your favorite quote? What’s one of your superpowers? What’s one thing you’re afraid of? What’

  • 119: Should You Act As If...or Not?

    26/04/2018 Duration: 08min

You’ve all heard the phrase “fake it ‘til you make it,” but lately there’s been a lot of talk that by doing so you’re being inauthentic. Why act like something we’re not and be who we really are in the moment? Well, I beg to differ and am a huge supporter of acting as if. Here’s my reasoning…   “When you act as if, you are literally taking the actions that the person you want to become is already taking.”   Acting as if is THE shortcut to getting you where you want to be. It also helps attract the right people and opportunities into your life and business. So yes, fake it ‘til you make and act as if because what you’re portraying is already in you, you’re just nudging it to come out a little sooner. It doesn’t change you at the core.   Tough-love truth, nobody wants to do business with someone who isn’t already acting as though their product is the biggest thing since sliced bread – unless YOU are acting as though it is. It’s not inauthentic, it’s actually more authentic because you truly believe in what yo

  • 118: Sales, Leadership, Confidence, and Cocaine with Zach Slobin

    23/04/2018 Duration: 01h02min

I am stoked to finally be able to have my friend and fellow entrepreneur, Zach Slobin, on since he hit the 7-figure mark. He’s one of the most well-studied and philosophical people I know and I’ve had many a conversation with him about business and life – and now he gets to share his knowledge with you.               While a huge proponent of networking now, initially Zach was against it after seeing his father’s experience with it. But after a few different failed attempts (and some epic low points that included drugs and being broke), he turned it around to become a go-to source for sales and marketing advice.               I have a feeling this conversation will spark breakthroughs for a lot of listeners. With some invaluable truths and knowledge bombs on human potential, Zach helps us all see that we are all meant for something greater and to live a life of abundance.                   --   Question Highlights: What’s one of your superpowers? What is one regret you have? What’s one of y

  • 117: Are You Doing This For Others?

    19/04/2018 Duration: 08min

Today’s podcast is about something really important, and whether you realize you’re doing it or not.   Are you lifting others up or are you accidentally holding them back?   Here’s what I mean… Let’s say you have a friend who just released a podcast. You’ve always told them you support them, but are truly showing it with your actions? Are you sharing their podcast on social media and to your others friends? Are you listening to the episodes and commenting? If you’re not doing those things, I’m not saying you’re intentionally withholding that type of support, but actions speak way louder than words in terms of lifting someone else up. It also tends to correlate how they lift you up when you need it.   “What you do on a regular basis is going to be done to you.”   Maybe you feel like certain people have “enough” supporters. (Hint: You can never have too many supporters.) The more action you take to support on the behalf of others, the more action they’ll make in return. It’s an amazing natural energy exchange

  • 116: How to OVERCOME LOW SELF-ESTEEM with Nicholas Bayerle

    16/04/2018 Duration: 49min

I can’t wait for you all to hear my conversation with entrepreneur and CEO of The Billion Dollar Body, Nicholas Bayerle. Not only did he make a huge transformation physically, he’s also made an incredible financial transformation – he just hit seven figures this year! Did I mention he’s only 26 years old? Today, Nicholas shares his experiences with other men and coaches them on how they too can live The Billion Dollar Lifestyle by focusing on their health, businesses and relationships. Be sure to listen in as Nicholas shares what this means and how it’s affected his journey thus far.  Get a pen and paper ready, he delivers tremendous value with this advice, nuggets of knowledge and tips.               --   Question Highlights: What’s one of your superpowers? What is one regret you have? What’s one of your favorite books? Who is someone who has changed your life? How did you go from obese and broke to fit and successful? When did you think things started to turn around for you? What’s the first step to imp

  • 115: How TIPPING Can Make You Rich

    12/04/2018 Duration: 13min

What are your tipping habits? Do you give more depending on the level of service you get? What if I told you that your tipping habits actually have more to do with your abundance and wealth than you think?   I learned my tipping habits years ago from my parents who were very generous tippers – no matter what the level of service was. And this stuck with me up until this point and I know it’s only helped boost my success (and in general, my happiness).   “The way you tip someone is not a reflection of the job they’ve done, it’s a reflection of how you feel about money.”   Let’s not forget about all the happiness/time-saving after effects of tipping well. At restaurants, because I’m known for my generosity, I’m seated faster, get better service and tend to get a lot of extras that other people don’t get. When I valet park (at least once a week), my car is always parked close and I’m able to get my parked even when the lot is full. When I’m generous, I’m saving both money and time, which leaves me happier and

  • 114: This Celebrity is Guaranteed to Make You Smile with Dr. Bill Dorfman

    09/04/2018 Duration: 37min

If there was a literal checklist for my ideal guest on For the Love of Money, celebrity dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman, would check them all – and then some. Not only he probably the most famous dentist in the history of dentists (think Extreme Makeover, The Doctors and Oprah Winfrey), he’s also co-founder of one of the world’ leading dental product companies (BriteSmile and Zoom!).   And while that success is inspiring, what’s even more is the generosity behind it. With generosity a built-in component to his personality, he’s found that by giving he always receives it back and more without expecting it.   Dr. Bill helps with the charity Smiles for Life and also is one of the founders of the LEAP foundation, which connects teenagers and young adults with mentors with the end goal of helping them achieve success.               You don’t want to miss out on this fascinating conversation – I am still in awe and also thinking of more ways I can give more and do better.               --   Question Highlights: What’

  • 113: MOMENTUM HACK! How To Get It and Keep It!

    05/04/2018 Duration: 10min

Today we’re talking about momentum – how to get it, keep it and get more of it.   “Momentum is the hardest thing to gain, the easiest thing to lose and the most valuable thing to have.”   This above statement says it all… So much so that I could safely leave it at that, but of course I’m going to elaborate a bit.   Momentum is something that everyone seeks in business. It’s that magical feeling when everything is going your way, the money and customers keep appearing – it’s explosive. And it honestly should be the goal for everyone when it comes to everything they’re doing – life and business. But it can be elusive and hard to hang on to.   See, momentum can be the savior or killer of your business or success. So many people never hit that momentum because they either give up right before it hits or they let it die after hitting it. It’s all about finding the delicate balance between finesse, effort, time investment and a little bit of miracle worked in.   “Momentum must be carefully cultivated in order to ge

  • 112: How FAITH Can Help You SUCCEED with Joel Brown

    02/04/2018 Duration: 49min

Back when my podcast first launched, I interviewed entrepreneur and fellow podcaster, Joel Brown, but the sound quality was so bad that it never aired. That’s why today I’m even more excited that we were able to connect one more time to have, in my opinion, an even better conversation.   From a very young age, Joel possessed an empowering mindset. Practicing his entrepreneurial skills at the young age of 7, he has long followed the principle of making money work for you – and not the other way around. Now for the last seven years, Joel has been running his motivational website, Addicted2Success (and more recently his podcast), where he encourages others to find their 10-year vision and the values that align with it.   In this episode, we deep dive into what a 10-year vision entails, how to find and create one and how faith has amplified Joel’s business and life. You don’t want to miss this inspiring and insightful talk.     --   Question Highlights: What’s one of your superpowers? What is one regret you have

  • 111: The Difference Between You and I...it might not be what you think

    29/03/2018 Duration: 07min

I’m sure the title of this episode threw you off today because I am definitely not going to stand up here on a pedestal and tell you about all the things I’ve done, bought or experienced that make us different. Nope. Not even close… are you ready?   “The difference between you and I is what makes you so valuable.”   It’s true! Here’s the thing, what I don’t have I need to buy from someone. What I don’t know, I need to learn from someone… you get the idea. The difference between you and I is your value and it’s what you can, in turn, market or monetize.   We were all meant to have an impact on the world – whether you realize it or not. But so many people have a unique set of skills and they could leverage those skills to those who need it. It may feel like selling, but trust me, it’s really a gift. People pray every night for solutions to their problems. What if you have the answers, knowledge or skills they were looking for? Powerful, right?   So, if you’re not sure what skill you could possibly leverage, I
