Sylvia approached me with a story she really wanted to tell. This is a story of two brothers, two of her sons. Robert her oldest son was killed in action on April 4th, 2004. Her youngest son Jeremy was lost to suicide. Veteran Suicide is an epidemic and we need to take a stand. To stand by and with those who are hurting and their families. These lesses are hard to take, hard to accept and leave a gaping hole in the lives of those friends and families left behind. Suicide is much harder to wrap your arms around. • BTC006: The Letter In The Locker

    22/11/2017 Duration: 53min

SUMMARY: Of all the shows I've created and produced on the Change Your POV Podcast Network, this one is by far the hardest I've done. Both from a topic standpoint and a technical one. Suicide is a huge problem in the military, in the civilian sector, and amongst our youth. Special thanks to everyone that participated and had the courage to share their stories.   A Silent War © Lisa Miktuk Leaving us without word, nothing left to say, Mom and me are never going to forget that day. Something must have hurt so bad and I simply turned my back, There's so many things I want to say, but it seems the right words I lack.
