Synopsis
Change Your POV Podcast Network is comprised of veterans and veteran advocates hell bent on providing as much value as possible to service members, those in transition, veterans and their families! We have multiple shows per week starting off with Motivation Monday. This is a quick weekly quote read by a member of the network and what that quote means to them. Tuesday is a show about veteran mental health hosted by Duane France called Head Space And Timing. This show will kick typical mental health stereotypes in the teeth! Wednesday is brought to you by Jeff Adamec our resident SOF operator bringing a totally new perspective on life in his show Changing Hearts And Minds. Thursday we go out doors with Andrew McDowell our non-veteran, veteran advocate as he shares with us his new explorations in Neophyte In The Woods. To close out the week wee we still have ATTACK Friday, this is where Eddie Lazzari and Bennett Tanton bring you Actionable Tips, Tricks, And Coachable Knowledge. We dont slow down! The weekend offers Behind The Curtain This is a Saturday show that is a grab bag of behind the scenes shows from all the show hosts and their families. Last but certainly not least is Kevin Fairbanks with his show Remove Before Flight. This Sunday show brings a wealth of knowledge about entrepreneurship, marketing, branding, and everything in between to help you succeed in whatever venture you are doing. Jay is a Marine Corps veteran from Illinois, currently living in Denver, CO. He served with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines as a machine gunner. He left the service as a sergeant and attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, graduating with a BS in Economics. A few months after graduating he led a project called Pax2Pax, a bicycle ride across the country in honor of Lance Corporal Johnny Strong, a marine who had been killed in Iraq on a patrol Knight was leading. NIW006: Jim Lacefield Talks Small Game Hunting, Deer and Gear
02/11/2017 Duration: 44minThis week on Neophyte in the Woods, I'm joined by Jim Lacefield. Jim has served 23 years in the Army National Guard - 6 in the infantry and the remainder in logistics. He began his service as an enlisted man, but was commissioned in 2005 and has achieved the rank of Major. He has two deployments to Iraq between 2003 and 2004 and 2009 and 2010. Jim is, like myself, a later-life hunter - Beginning in the fall of 2012 when an army buddy asked if his son would like to join in on a pheasant hunt. Soon after, Jim was being begged to start hunting! The rest is history. He bagged his first Whitetail in the fall of 2014 and first Gobbler in 2017. In between, he harvested many squirrels and helped his son shoot his first deer, too!

A self-described evangelist for classical literature and its relevance to our lives today, Doerries uses age-old approaches to help individuals and communities heal from trauma and loss. Doerries is a proud graduate of Kenyon College and serves as a board member of the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers and Friends of the Young Writers Workshop. Among his awards, Doerries has received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Kenyon College, and in March 2017, he was named Public Artist in Residence (PAIR) for the City of New York, a joint appointment with the New York City Department of Veterans’ Services and Department of Cultural Affairs. During this two-year residency, he will bring more than 60 Theater of War Productions projects to diverse communities across all five boroughs.

24/10/2017 Duration: 01h04sSUMMARY: Ellsworth "Tony" Williams is a Combat Army Veteran, having faithfully and honorably served on active duty in the Army for over 24 years (8 enlisted and 16 Commissioned), including service during Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He received numerous military awards including a Bronze Star and 3 Meritorious Service Medals (MSM).
