The Lady of the Dunes

It's been almost 48 years, and the police have not been about to identify the woman or her killer. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious case of The Lady of the Dunes. The mutilation of the body appeared to be a clear attempt to make it difficult to identify this individual. Both of the woman's hands and some her teeth were removed. There was even an attempt to sever the head. There have been many theories over the years as to both her identity and the killer. One theory is that she was an extra on the movie Jaws and another theory is that infamous mobster Whitey Bulger was the killer. The Jamison Family

Their bodies weren't found until four years later, and the medical examiner could not determine a cause of death for any of them. Theories on what happened to the Jamisons range from murder-suicide, starvation, or drug-related activity to a murder committed by a cult. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the disappearance and deaths of 44-year-old Bobby, 40-year-old Sherrilyn, and 6-year-old Madyson Jamison. Their truck was found and what was inside, including Madyson's dog, has perplexed investigators and fueled speculation for years. Madyson loved her dog and would have never left it behind. It looked to investigators as though the Jamisons were forced out of their truck in a hurry. But who was behind it and exactly what happened remains a mystery. Thomas Wales
08/05/2022 Duration: 01h05minWhen Thomas Wales was murdered in his Seattle home in 2001, the FBI almost immediately thought that it was a professional hit. Wales was an Assistant United States Attorney who had prosecuted many white-collar criminals. The authorities had to figure out whether it was someone Thomas had prosecuted who pulled off or ordered the hit. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Thomas Wales. The authorities pretty quickly focused in on a pilot who Tom Wales had indicted the year before his murder. And even though over 20 years have passed since the murder, the authorities don't seem to have moved on from their prime suspect. What has come out are rumors of a drug cartel being involved and that the authorities know the identity of the shooter. But to date, they have not held anyone accountable to for the murder of Thomas Wales. Daniel Morgan

The Sodder Children

The Route 29 Stalker

JoAnn Romain

Sofia Juarez

LaQuanta Riley

Revelle Balmain

The mysterious death of Debbie Wolfe

The Sumter County Does

The victims had both been shot several times. Police were unable to identify the victims and they became known as the Sumter County Does. Kyron Horman

Ireland's Vanishing Triangle
31/01/2022 Duration: 01h11minFrom 1993 to 1998, at least eight women disappeared within an 80-mile radius of Dublin. Police were stumped at the complete lack of evidence suggesting where the women could be or who could be involved. Irish police undertook searches and made widespread public appeals for information in most cases. Law enforcement treated each case individually, but in the eyes of the public, there seemed to be a possible connection. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the baffling mystery of Ireland's vanishing triangle. Over the years, several persons of interest were identified. These ranged from the victim's partners to suggesting that a serial offender could be responsible. In one case, charges were filed twice but then dropped. Candace Hiltz

James had an extreme anxiety disorder that left him unable to even live in the family home. He lived in a building by himself behind the house. One involved a Freemont County deputy named Robert Dodd where Candace accused Dodd of taking payments from drug dealers. Bryce Laspisa

Jane Britton
10/01/2022 Duration: 01h09minIn 1969, 23-year-old Jane Britton was a graduate student at Harvard University specializing in Archaeology. Jane was extremely bright and goal-oriented and she came from a very academic family. But, Jane was found raped and murdered in her apartment after returning to school after Christmas break. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious murder of Jane Britton. Jane had no known enemies and police were unable to find her killer. Police had some good evidence from the crime scene but DNA technology was many years away from coming into existence. It took almost 50 years for the authorities to match semen found to a man named Michael Sumpter. Unfortunately, Sumpter died 17 years before the match was made.
