Roughing The Podcast

In this episode, Di and Ted are reeling after two straight losses, and try to explain what's going on. But we avoided talking about the Spanking at Soldier Field by talking about some Halloween stuff for as long as possible, lol. But yeah, we have to talk Vikings, because that's why you're here. We attempt to fix the offensive line, the running game, the defense, and ask the dreaded question--did the Vikings quit? From there, it's on to the Lions, and then we finish up the show by taking viewer questions.

In this episode, Di and Ted recap the debacle that was the Eagles game, and go over the offensive line woes, the bad running game, and whether or not Adrian Peterson would help at all. There were a couple bright spots, like Adam Thielen, Cordarrelle Patterson, and the defense in general, and they talk about what little good there was. But hey, at least we aren't the Bears, woo hoo! They then look over the Bears roster, and discuss the return of Jay Cutler. But the Bears have a history with Cutler at Soldier Field in playing the Vikings tough, so will the bad play carry over into this week? We have our first split in predictions this week, as one of them picks the Bears in an upset. From there, they look at the ratings decline in the NFL, and discuss some reasons why. Finally, they wrap the show up with listener questions.

In this episode, Di and Ted come off the Vikings bye week, and talk bye week news. Namely, the signing of T Jake Long, and the DUI's of Isame Fasciane and George Edwards. From there, we move on to the Eagles preview and discuss Carson Wentz, and what the Vikings need to do to win the game. Somehow, we get into a discussion about West World and Game of Thrones, too. No, I'm not sure how that happened. They wrap the show by taking a bunch of listener questions, which are greatly appreciated.

Roughing The Podcast returns this week with Di and Ted, and they discuss how awesome US Bank Stadium is, how awesome the Giants game was, and how awesome a win over the Texans is going to be.

The Tommy Kramer episode recaps the Vikings big win over Green Bay. Di and Ted go over the good and bad of the game, and get into a good discussion on Adrian Peterson's future. From there, it's time to preview the Panthers, and give you the big things that both the offense and defense needs to do to come out of Carolina with a win. Finally, they answer listener questions, make a prediction for the Panthers game, and make a major announcement regarding next weeks show.

Di and Ted look back on the week one win at Nashville, talk about some Vikings news, review the Sunday night game against the hated Packers, and answer listener questions.

Ted and Di start off this episode discussing some NFL news, namely the PED's showdown between the NFL and the 'Al Jazeera 4', including two members of the Green Bay Packers. They also discuss former Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder and what him signing with the San Francisco 49ers means for him and the 49ers. Then it's time to review the Vikings pre-season win over the Bengals. They discuss the hot mess the offensive line was, and how good Teddy Bridgewater was in spite of the porous line play. They wrap up the Bengals game by discussing the backup QB play, Laquon Treadwell;s debut, whether or not C.J. Ham can make the practice squad, and finally, the depth chart at safety behind the starters. Then it's on to Seattle. Once again, we discuss Cordarrelle Patterson and what we might expect in terms of performance and playing time. We then ask the burning question--will Adrian Peterson play? (Probably not). From there, the trio move on to the Vikings and training camp. They discuss the early injuries to Mike Harris, Adrian Peterson, and Cordarrelle Patterson and how serious they might be. From there, they move on to the different position groups, discussing the offensive line, the backup quarterback position, and whether or not the Vikings should have brought in competition for P Jeff Locke. They start the show off discussing the re-launch, and then the legacy of the late Dennis Green. From there, they move on to the Vikings, namely how the retirement of Phil Loadholt will impact the offensive line, who is going to catch passes from Teddy, who's going to be the other starting safety, and more.
