Brian has been keeping bees longer than Zach or Aaron have been alive. The third generation of a family of beekeepers, he’s used his passion for the sweet golden nectar to spread the good one of our black and yellow friends, educating folks all across SETX.

From a tattoo apprenticeship under Johnny Johno on "Dirty Sixth Street" in Austin to a shop all her own in Beaumont, Cara Edgar (now Ray) is another one of many badass tattoo artists to sit and rap with us. Shops are open y'all!

These dudes are quite fit, masterfully fit even. Thad and Earnest kicked off their successful live show on a whim last year and while there have been some stumbles (or thousand-year floods) they’re raring back up to share their knowledge and experience with the fitness world.

Finally we have the "conclusion" of Heather and Daniel's journey. This episode is a bit late coming, but by the time we'd released the first part back in late April they'd been halfway through their run up the trail. This is a couple months fresh off the trail, well-weathered, and with a fresh perspective on where their journey brought them.

We don’t know if you know this, but there’s a killer in our midst. Straight out of Boston and with a long list of credits including Drake, Migos, and some mixing gigs with American Idol, John Freyermuth has been running LSCPA’s recording program for the last few years. Molding young minds with his deep passion and an incredibly diverse amount of curse words.

Kailee and Amanda came by and best-friended it up with us and their friendship is blossoming into “A Common Occurrence of Time” art installation at The Art Studio Inc. in Beaumont, Texas on February 1st. The event is free and there will be refreshments as you look at a work over two years in the making.

From the fields of California to almost three decades selling tacos in our little part of Texas Carlos Zuniga is a guy that exemplifies what we think #supportlocal is all about. He told us the story behind Tacos La Bamba, and for a guy that doesn’t do interviews, he easily steals this show. Definitely one our favorite interviews yet.

Pour Brothers Brewery seemed to pop up out of nowhere, but it’s been in the works for quite some time. Joel Hollier, Mike Broussard, and Nick McLaughlin are The Brothers of Pour and we couldn’t get all the brothers in, but Joel stopped by the studio to tell us their story, a bit about what’s in the works, and he even brought a couple growlers for a bit of a taste test in the second half. We had some tech issues on this one, so bear with the audio till about 5 minutes in and apologies for some of the video later on. Shouldn’t be an issue moving forward cause Zach got some new gear goodies.
