  • 112 - To Be or Not to Be Vulnerable - Part 2

    09/03/2020 Duration: 11min

In the last episode, I mentioned in the end that my vulnerability allowed me to open Pandora's box.  The old saying suggests leaving the box close. To not let fear and all other troubles come in the open. Well, to be honest, I felt much better after the emotional breakdown. This makes me wonder how much trouble it causes - in wasted energy when choosing to keep the emotions in the box. I learned, in the past four years, that every time I leaned into my most vulnerable state, something new gets created.   As an alchemist, I know that thoughts are energy and to create new thoughts, new plans or strategies something needs to be broken down. And that every breakdown leads to breakthroughs. In some ways - when it is seen as such, vulnerability acts as a catalyst for growth.  What I’ve discovered is that frustration consumes energy and suppressed feelings will oftentimes turn into negative feelings, which most likely will bring anxiety, drama, and shortcomings.   In

  • 111 - To be or not to be vulnerable - Part 1

    02/03/2020 Duration: 16min

I’ve been thinking a lot about the vulnerability aspect in the last few days. Yes, of course, there’s an incident that brings me to talk about this topic: To be or not to be vulnerable? That is the question, isn’t it?   There is no in-between. This is deep because it impacts you at the soul level.   I learned, in the past four years, that every time I leaned into with my most vulnerable state, something new gets created.   As an alchemist, I know that thoughts are energy and to create new thoughts, new plans or strategies something needs to be broken down.  And that every breakdown leads to breakthroughs and growth. In short, I now know that being vulnerable acts as a catalyst. The sooner you lean in, the sooner you get what you truly desire or you get a resolution. To most of us, we spend most of our time and energy debating if it’s OK to be or not to be vulnerable - in whatever particular moment you’re in.  For example, you may like someone but you are afraid o

  • 110 - How to Rise In Love

  • 109 - How to cope with emotional numbness

    17/02/2020 Duration: 17min

For most of my life, I put my feelings on hold. I assumed everything else around me was more important. The truth is I lived in fear. Fear that I created in my mind.   For years, I look for the outer world to make me feel good and beautiful. In this state of lack, I spent more time in the blame, shame, and justify game.  Then one day, I got tired of walking on eggshell and picking my battle. I put my foot down and decided that I had enough of pretending that life was great the way it was. That’s when I decided I wanted to feel and live again.   The experience brought me a new degree of understanding. Depression is a state of mind where we deprive ourselves of our emotions. We think we have to suck it up because there are no other choices.  It is not normal to walk on eggshell, feeling like you have to pick your battles, or worse hide and bottle your feelings in fear of displeasing the people around you.  We all have one life to live and liv

  • 108 - Do you take responsibility for your outcomes?

    10/02/2020 Duration: 11min

Taking responsibility for your outcome will be the best investment of your life. First, it put you in charge of your destiny. Rather than taking the victim’s role, you get to control what is going on. Now, mind you, I’m when I say “taking control” I mean it from the higher-self, not the ego. Becoming responsible brings initiative, which increases your confidence and over time, it builds your willpower. Your mind is free to create without being caught in the story - the story you may create when you choose to slack on your responsibility. I feel is important to share because, well, let’s face it, in one day we may have about 6 hours of creative energy - used to create something new. What drains the willpower is negative energy. So when you feel guilty about something you haven’t done, it doesn’t feel good inside. This feeling affects your creativity which is your energy for constructive purposes. When you take responsibility for your action and outcome, you can share your message from

  • 107 - Are you living up to your full potential?

    03/02/2020 Duration: 17min

The tragic passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi touched me deeply. As I heard the news, it made me ask if I’m living my life to my full potential. Then I thought if I live another 25 years, this means I only have 25 summers left. Of course, this is an assumption, not a guarantee. So, what do I want to achieve by next summer?  For the past 8 years, I’ve been studying Napoleon Hill’s book and he says to truly achieve your full potential in life, you need a burning desire. A burning desire is more than a wish or a goal. It’s visceral. It has to happen. The reason why many of us know Kobe Bryant is because he new his burning desire at a young age and acted on it. He didn’t let fear stop him.   The main challenge we have in achieving our full potential is daring to communicate that we exist. In my experience, I noticed fear as a way to make us play small. Often time we are not aware we are playing safe. All we know is, we don’t know what we want. We lack clarity.  Fear is behind a lack

  • 106 – Do you struggle with your (emotional) weight?

    27/01/2020 Duration: 15min

Last weekend, as I experienced being in a weightless, magnesium filled water-pool, it made me think how much of our time is consumed about our body mass. Then I wondered how heavy we feel when our mind is filled with negative thoughts. Oftentimes, we worry over the number seen on the scale. In reality, it’s not the number that is a problem, it’s the meaning we put into it. If you take the bionic woman, I’m sure her weight changed after being given two bionic legs, one harm, and an ear. However, she didn’t let the number on the scale get in the way of her superpower. In this episode, I share with you a way to channel your energy for constructive purposes, converting your challenges into your superpower. And this is why I bring up the subject on the weight. Only now do I know how much the emotional weight keeps us down. The cool thing is when you are ready and willing to let go, you get to see the amazing things the universe has in store for you. The challenge is to be willing to create from the unknown by lett

  • 105- How to Achieve Your Oasis of Hope

    21/01/2020 Duration: 17min

Last week I spoke about gaining clarity in the stillness. I realized that often times we may arrive in the stillness not by choice and this can be quite challenging. The idea of creating your own Oasis of Hope is to find healthy ways to cope and help you move through negative spells quickly.   The feeling of hope elevate your state of mind and bring within you faith that something greater will be on the other side of your challenges. Notice that every emotion you feel is all happening in your mind. This is why it’s important to control your state of mind. Hope and faith are the antidote to fear, blame, shame and many other negative emotions. The magic lies in knowing that tomorrow will be better. It’s magical because your actions are in direct response to your emotions. So what you think will convert into actions. Remember, life is fragile and we never know what will happen next. Sometimes we take our health or job for granted. We assume there’s security in the sameness. It’s not so. We ju

  • 104 – How to Achieve Clarity in the Stillness?

    13/01/2020 Duration: 25min

Many of us start the New Year with great intentions and we set new goals. We may work towards the goal for a week, a month or six months. Then, we gradually let go of the goal. The next new year comes and you are back to setting the same goal again.  Why is it so challenging to make your goals a reality? In this episode, I share my learning as to why our goals do not come to fruition and what can be done about it.  I noticed that society wants to keep us busy; as if idleness was a sin. I learned from experience, that being busy gives us a false sign of being productive. The real question is what are we truly wanting to achieve and are we committed to achieving it? Imagine being in a slow-motion Ferris Wheel which takes you around, bringing the ups and downs of life but somehow you never seem to go forward. You assume you are moving towards your goal, only to wake up, year after year, seeking the same outcome.   The Ferris Wheel is, oftentimes, an illusion and only in the stillness can you

  • 103 – Can you truly be free if you seek to control?

    06/01/2020 Duration: 12min

My son recently got his driving license and last Saturday, he drove me to the movie. As he drove, I noticed how "out of control" I felt. Then it made me wonder how much "in control" I want to be vs. having freedom. For instance, if I want to be free, meaning being able to do as I want and go where I want, I've got to let my son become a self-sufficient man. This is a no brainer as I've been letting him do pretty much what he wants - hence why we have a great relationship. However, the driving incident made me wonder about my quest to be financially free. It dawned on me that there's a fine line between freedom and control. For instance, do I want to be in charge of a company where my employees are all lined up at my desk asking for what to do next or do I take the time to create systems and procedures in place? Then, my thought drifted to my early 20's when I was in a relationship with a very jealous man and I realize now how negative emotion can prevent someone from being free. From my experience this weeken

  • 102 – The Power of Unconditional Love

    30/12/2019 Duration: 23min

Today, I'm going to share the power of unconditional love. I'm doing so because love is at the core of our existence. Only through love can we find happiness. The challenge is where to find true unconditional love? Four years ago, I found happiness and love, not where I expected it, and it didn't come in the package I expected it either. It happened when I arrived at Phil's event as an "unhappy with my life, left-brain chemist," seeking for a solution to improve my business. During Phil's teachings, I learned why I was unhappy. At one point, he made us do an exercise, and I decided to participate without reservation. I let go of all inhibitions revealing my soul to its bare essence. Phil picked up on the tears and the energy. He paused for a while. I remember fearing judgment. I dread what he was going to say. What he did next changed my life forever.

  • 101 – Releasing vs. Resistance

    16/12/2019 Duration: 10min

In the past year, I've done my fair share of releasing, mainly releasing expectations from others, false beliefs, and old baggage that was not serving me anymore. Earlier this week, as I was talking with my mentor, Pati, she said: "I was resisting." Although in the context she was using it, she was correct. However, what came to me was the negative connotation we have given to the word resisting. When seen from a duality, we tend to think that resisting is bad. While I talked with Pati, I reminded her that there's a purpose in life to have a certain degree of resistance. As an example, resistors are used in electronics to adjust the current flow. Bringing these concepts in my reality, I noticed that to move away from old unsupportive habits; it requires a certain degree of resistance. If I choose to stop drinking soda, I've got to resist the temptation to buy more at the store. In this episode, I share my views as to when it's important to resist or release. https://podcasts.captivate.fm/media/98149b44-eff4-4

  • 100 – A New Beginning

    08/12/2019 Duration: 17min

In 2012, I started formulating a cream called Dermesence Perfection cream, designed for oily, acne-prone skin. And for years, I struggled in knowing how to promote it for others to have access to the cream. Only recently did I learn that we tend to reenact our parent's behaviors. My dad, who lost his mom when he was 7-years-old, suffered from the new step-mother. After several years of being used as a cash cow, he left at fourteen, vowing to himself that he will never give his money to another woman. Years later, married to my mom, they had five kids, but he would make sure he spends his paycheck before arriving home. This dynamic caused blame and shame on one side and a lack of success on the other Unbeknown to me, this past programming was running my thoughts and my action, hence why the lack of results. In this episode, I'm sharing how it feels to begin again from a new place of awareness, which permitted me to share, from a different angle, the true benefits of Dermesence Perfection cream. • 099 – The Power of a Mastermind Alliance

    01/12/2019 Duration: 18min

Have you ever wondered what it would take to achieve a blissful life? Through the power of a mastermind, I’ve finally arrived at that place, thanks to my mentor@Pati Maez. I recently had a spiritual experience where I saw my life as being in a sphere. In the center, there’s a propeller. I believe the meaning of life is to get through the propeller. I see the propeller as “the rat-race,” as when we chase after time and always feeling tired. What’s between the first half of the sphere and the propeller is not visible to the naked eye; it’s our mindset, beliefs, and stories. When caught on the blade, the person simply drifts in life.  As I created the skincare line, it awakened my awareness of this spatial presence, but the wind kept me on the first half of the sphere. Through many epiphanies experienced with Pati, I now see that the game of life is to dare to go through the propeller. It’s challenging because it’s impossible to make it on the other side without being “chopped up” in some ways.  What I

  • 098 – Do You Know Your Life Purpose

    28/11/2019 Duration: 12min

On Mother's day 2016, I received a text message from a friend saying: "Hope Mother's Day Honors THE You." As I read the text, it made me wonder. I was so busy doing that I forgot who I was. I set forth to find out what my true life purpose is. Today as the yearend approaches, I'm reflecting on the benefits it gave to know what I stand for and what I stand against. In this episode, I'm sharing the importance of knowing your life purpose. • 097- Things are not always as they seem

    18/11/2019 Duration: 13min

While on a business trip, I met Buff, a clean and pleasant veteran, with 25” biceps. We talked for a while, and I really enjoyed the conversation. Before we depart, he gave me his business card and invited me to connect with him next time I’m in town. Well, last week, on Memorial Day, I texted him to thank him for his service. A new text conversation started. This time, he shared he was planning a trip to my town, and he was asking if we could meet again.   After exchanging a few texts, everything changed, I realized things are not always as they seem. In this episode, I share my epiphany on how easy it is to get distracted when we get caught in our own delusion and lack clarity. The experience though me a valuable lesson on how we can easily fall into destructive distraction when we are unaware.  If you fall into a similar trap and seeking counseled advice, schedule a free 30-minute consultation http://bit.ly/asknadia

  • 096 - A tribute to our elders

    11/11/2019 Duration: 11min

In this episode, honoring veterans and everyone who has served or is servicing in the military, I draw a parallel between the first world war and my grandmother who thought me that life is full of miracles if we stay attuned.

  • 095 - When is it time to let go of expectations?

    04/11/2019 Duration: 09min

In October, I experienced a full-moon ceremony with my Shaman friend Pati Maez. She introduced me to her culture, and, one more time, I was amazed by the power of the Divine source, where everything is that connects with nature. God speaks in a language that we don’t always comprehend. We are accustomed to believing only what we hear and see. A great example of that, you may not see the cold virus; however, if your body gets infected, you will feel it. Well, that night, I experienced many things that cannot be explained with logic. One thing I’ve learned is that if we are not achieving what we want, we need to let go of something. Albert Einstein said: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” Read Full Transcript This means, if you expect different results, you\'ve got to be willing to explore other possibilities. For me, attending a full-moon celebration with my Native American friend is willing to explore the unknown with curiosity and o

  • 094 - How to find your voice?
