063: Scamming Gina
06/09/2019 Duration: 44minIn this episode, we discuss something that happened to Gina last week, that could have cost her thousands of dollars. We are aware that similar things happen to many people all over the country. Thankfully, Gina's run-in with a scam had a happy ending, thanks to the excellent training an employee of a local store had received. We are concerned about this issue, and are working to get the word out, so that others can be aware of how devious some of these scams can be, and not get hooked. Has his happened to you, or to someone you know? Tell us about it, please! Want more of Bill K & Gina Faye? CLICK HERE!

If you have had interesting, even happy ending stories using these sites, we would love to hear about them, and as always, welcome your suggestions and ideas about future shows. 061: Understanding Change
25/08/2019 Duration: 45minSeveral years when Gina and Bill first started talking about doing a podcast together, Bill said he wanted to be on the receiving end of Gina's therapy. In this session, that's what happened. Our topic was change, and how we manage it...and with Gina, Bill explored his decision to join the military, who he shared that decision with, and basically, how he coped with the change of leaving his very close-knit family and community, and going to a completely new environment. Have a listen, and as always, we very much welcome your ideas for topics, and your input on our podcasts! Want more of Bill K & Gina Faye? CLICK HERE!

060: Is Finding Acceptance Important?
17/08/2019 Duration: 42minHello, all! In this episode we look at the concept of "Acceptance". Gina had shared a post about acceptance on Facebook, and we thought it would be interesting to look at what this idea means to each of us, and the fact that the meaning of the word can be misunderstood. Bill shared that he had, in the past, associated acceptance with complacency, and we clarified for both of us what the difference between these two ideas is. Typically, our conversation went down several other roads, and we hope you are enjoying our meanderings, as much as we enjoy recording them. Your feedback is very much appreciated, let us hear from you! Want more of Bill K & Gina Faye? CLICK HERE!

059: Gun Control and How Can We Make a Difference
10/08/2019 Duration: 01h29sIn this session, we dive into the question of gun control, and the wider issue of what we, as a society can do to make a difference. We both have different perspectives on this topic, although there are areas where we agree, and this made for a fascinating discussion. As the topic broadened, we looked at politics in general, and the value of voting...how can we really make a difference, and can we be confident that our vote actually counts? Our conversation illustrates clearly that people who hold strong views are still able to have an open discussion, and still stay friends. Want more of Bill K & Gina Faye? CLICK HERE!

057: Gina & Bill Catching Up
26/07/2019 Duration: 44minIn this episode, we just catch up with one another, and enjoy chatting about a range of topics. The two of us challenge one another since we often have quite different perspectives on things. Open conversation is something we value a lot, allowing the possibility of connecting with another person even if they don't see things exactly the same way we do. Gina described a training in listening she did many years ago that taught her the tremendous benefit that can be had from listening to understand instead of listening to respond. 052: The Myth of the Hustle
23/06/2019 Duration: 35minOkay....so what we need to do to "make it happen". (whatever that means) is to hustle...more and more and more...out hustling everyone else. Is this true? In this episode, we look at that belief, and question its validity. Gina and Bill look at their personal ideas about the work ethic, and how they find a balance between working hard and working smart. Again, Bill looks at his internal narrative which informs him that he is not good enough, and how that narrative impacts how he often strives for perfection. Thank you all for listening, and we would love it if you would post on our Facebook page something you are challenged by and would like us to discuss on a future show.
