At the timing of this recording  Sony tried to make all PC players have a PSN account in order to play the hit game.  They have since retracted this statement thanks to the Helldiver 2 Community. Square takes a 140 million causing them  to scale back their planned games. Tekken 8 reveals their next DLC character and roadmap for 2024. Resident Evil 9  could be released as early as January 2025. Switch 2 joy con rumors to be magnetic joy cons. Two new Fallout projects  are in the works.  A  Kingdom Hearts movie is in the works! Hazellight games, Game of the year developer for It Takes Two,  is announcing new stuff later this year. Wizard of the coast has  Baldurs Gate news as Larian Studio moves on from the franchise. Todd Howard is avoiding dates for Fallout 5 and Elder Scrolls 6  in an attempt  for not  missing release dates.  The Witcher tv show has been renewed for a 5th and final season. The Xbox  news has stated that four games will head to Nintendo Switch and Playstation 5. Phil Spencer also hinted what the next generation will be  a technological lift for all consoles. Playstation  has announced that no new first party games will be coming until April 2025 at the earliest. The crew discusses how this okay seeing how all  Playstation’s heavy hitters  such as Santa Monica and Insomniac have already released huge titles.  The Nintendo Switch 2 may  have been delayed by a few  months. Bandai Namco cancelled at least 5 games while Embracer claims to be looking out for  shareholders by laying off 1400 workers. Sony’s first  State of Play  revealed new trailers including gameplay for  upcoming titles such as Stellar Blade, Foamstars, Dragon’s Dogma 2 and even  Death Stranding 2: On The Beach! A Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth State of  Play is slated for this February 6th with sights of a demo for the game being released later that day. The Pokemon Company has made an official statement concerning  Palworld and will be investigating the games as eerily similar creatures.
