Nintendo boss can’t talk about the potential switch 2 but he has confirmed that Nintendo  accounts will have a smoother transition to the next console slated for 2024. Microsoft now owns several IPS including Diablo, Call of Duty and World of Warcraft. Bobby kotick will remain ceo until the end of the year. The crew breaks down everything Microsoft now has as potential first party games. The PlayStation slim is a real thing and is coming next month for the holiday season. Lords of the Fallen reviews are in and they don’t seem to live up to the expectations while Sonic Superstars seems to be a fun time. The gang talks  about if you like the original Assassins Creed Formula then you will like the game.  Detective Pikachu returns reviews are also out but the fidelity from the Nintendo switch seems to have held back the capability.  The Last of  Us Multiplayer  game is currently on Ice as Naughty Dog  has laid off workers  with  rumors of a Last of Us 2 remaster being in development.  Microsoft is hoping to close on the Activision-Blizzard deal this coming week. CD Projekt nearly 125 million dollars to turn around to turn around Cyberpunk 2077 post launch,  begging the question on why the game was never initially delayed. Capcom’s boss has stated he would gracefully decline any offers from Microsoft to buy them out. Star Wars Jedi 3 is currently being made according to voice actor star Cameron Maraghan. A Switch game has been canceled due the ongoing fiasco with Unity’s new standards.  Banishers Ghost of New Eden has been delayed to February  in order  for it not to be shadowed by the onslaught of upcoming games. Ceo of Sony Jim Ryan  is retiring from the company in the spring of 2024. The Awoi gaming crew is back to give you all the gaming news this week!  Nintendo has announced that there will be no  Zelda tears of the Kingdom DLC because they feel as though they’ve explored everything in the game and are ready to move onto the next game. In a funny interview, Todd Howard tells PC players to upgrade their PC to experience Starfield in the best way possible. The Switch 2 was apparently leaked at Gamescom.  The graphics were supposedly comparable to the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X. Jedi Survivor received another huge patch fixing performance issues.  The Mortal Kombat 1 roster has been leaked on the internet. Sea os Stars has sold 250K copies of the hit new JRPG. One Piece Season 2 scripts have already been written and ready to go for when the writers strike ends.  Miyazaki isn’t retiring after all  and a new TMNT game has been announced. Sony is increasing the price of its Playstation plus tiers which might cause some gamers to reduce their subscriptions. Final Fantasy 16 is getting two new DLCs  and officially being ported to PC.  Vampire the Masquerade 2  is  slated to come out next year Fall 2024! The Witcher 4 just got an increase in development as Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is coming out and developers can switch gears. Imagine Dragons has a new Starfield themed song out now! Robocop has been delayed to November and Lies of P has three different endings.The One Piece Live action is now out and it has delivered a rare great anime adaptation! The Awoi gaming crew is back to give you all the gaming news this week!  Diablo 4 season one has officially kicked off, and it isn’t the greatest reception for the community as the developers have nerfed almost every class, making the game uneven. Remnant 2 reviews are in and they are great! Pikmin 4 sales are down right now.  The gang believes it’s because of Nintendo’s lack of marketing is why the game isn’t performing so well.  Xbox and Playstation have settled on a deal for Call of Duty to be on  Playstation consoles for at least ten years. Friend of the show Seth Fulkerson sat down with IGN at SDCC to talk about his upcoming video game Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore!  Sony revealed  the Spiderman 2 ps5 and controller. Perry gives his thoughts on the Life of P demo and is calling it an offshoot of Bloodborne. Gerrimy gives a quick deep dive for Nicholas Cage being in Dead by Daylight. Spider Man 2 is slated for October 20th and the gang discusses how The months of September and October are  slammed with great video game titles. Mortal Kombat 1 is slated to come out  September 19th and it has the fighting games community excited.  For the second half of the show the  crew watched the Xbox Showcase and Starfield direct to give their fresh reactions. Titles such as Fable, Cyberpunk Liberty,  Senua Saga: Hellblade 2 and Persona 3 Remake were all shown off during the show! Number to gives her thoughts on Alan Wake 2 being digital only and how it will affect customers.  Street Fighter 6 and Diablo 4 reviews are in and  both games are receiving great reviews! Stone gives his first impressions for Diablo 4 and Perry gives his final thoughts for Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom and first impressions for Street Fighter 6. CD Projeckt  Red has announced they are not for sale. Square Enix is worried about the low amount of pre orders for Final Fantasy XVI and is reportedly panicking. They also confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is still  progressing smoothly as the studio is trying to nail down a release date. Bungie has played Naughty Dogs The Last of Us Multiplayer game and has said it needs to have more time in the oven. Final Fantasy 9 is apparently tied to the playstation 5 ecosystem even though

The gang breaks down the games they are most excited  about. Titles such as Metal Gear Solid 3, Assassins Creed Mirage and  new ip games like Phantom Blade were shown. Also the potential of another Sony showcase later this year. Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia remake is  currently in development hell. Stone mentions how he hopes the game gets the proper treatment it deserves as it’s one of his favorite games.   The Sony handheld was revealed and it’s designed for cloud gaming. Alan Wake 2 will be digital only to keep the cost below the 70 dollar price tag. Zelda is out and Perry gives his first impressions after playing it for its first week!  Mortal Kombat 1 has been announced and is slated to come out on September 19th.  A playstation showcase is coming this wednesday and the gang tries to figure out what might be announced. Hollow Knight Silksong has been delayed even though it had no official date. Hogwarts Legacy, for the Switch has been delayed outside of July. Grand Theft Auto 6 might  come out as early as 2024! If you’re  playing on PC be wary of the slew of issues for the game. Perry gives his  hot take on the game. New armored core gameplay has  the crew excited.
