Healing Through Humility
02/09/2018 Duration: 36minPaul tells the church at Corinth that the reason their relationships are divided and filled with tension is their pride. Pride takes everything in our lives and makes it about us—"what does this do for me?" The only way we'll find healing in our relationships is if we can find true humility—if we can get our eyes off of ourselves. And this can only happen when we remember the wonderful truth of the Gospel.

The Gift of Prayer
26/08/2018 Duration: 31minGod gives us the gift of prayer as a resource to affect change, both in the lives of others and in our own hearts. And so often, we neglect what a wonderful gift it is and the power that it has. We must remember, though, what it cost to give us that kind of intimate access to God: the death of His Son, Jesus.

God's Gracious Appointments
19/08/2018 Duration: 29minIn the last chapter of Jonah, we see that Jonah's heart has become hardened to the idea of others receiving God's grace. But rather than dismissing Jonah, God graciously entreats him and reminds him that he loves all people, not just those who we often believe "deserve it."

The Loving Call to Repentance
12/08/2018 Duration: 39minThe idea of repentance often can create uneasy feelings, and we can assume to tell someone that they need to "change" is unloving or uncaring. But we see in the person of Jesus that the call to repentance is, in fact, the most loving thing that God can do for us.

Salvation Belongs to The Lord
03/08/2018 Duration: 32minIn the belly of the great fish, Jonah cries out in a psalm of thanksgiving, praising the Lord for saving him. Perhaps the whole of Scripture can be summed up in a line from his prayer: "Salvation belongs to the Lord." Our God is a saving God, and that is good news.

Jonah and our Great God
22/07/2018 Duration: 29minThis week, we began our new series in the book of Jonah. Many believe Jonah is a story about a great fish, but it's actually a story about a great God—a God who is gracious, forgiving, and who relentlessly seeks the salvation of all who would turn to him.

He Knows Our Name
14/07/2018 Duration: 32minIn this sermon, we behold Jesus as the True and Greater Shepherd in John 10:1-15. Christ knows His sheep intimately by name, and He willingly laid down His life so that His sheep might find life in Him. One of the great paradoxes of the Gospel is that Christ is both the Leader of God's people, and the sacrificial Lamb for God's people. His deep knowledge of us frees us from anxiety and calls us to follow Him.

You Are Not Your Failures
08/07/2018 Duration: 29minIn Paul's final greetings at the end of Colossians, we find a comforting message: if we are in Christ, we are not defined by our failures. It is not our accomplishments that need to qualify us, but the work of Jesus on our behalf.
-
Working with the Lord
23/06/2018 Duration: 33minIn this sermon, we look at Colossians 3:22-4:1. God has ordained His people to work. While this has been fractured due to the fall, He calls us to glorify Him in our vocations. By seeking to please our heavenly Master above all, we are enabled to serve earthly masters in our work.
-
A New Family
17/06/2018 Duration: 26minIn this sermon, we look at Colossians 3:20-21. Parents have an incredible responsibility to raise their children unto the Lord, and children learn more from their parents than anyone else. In God's wisdom, He designed the home to be an incubator where children can spiritually mature.
-
The End Changes the Now
10/06/2018 Duration: 35minWe believe there is one underlying, dominant story told throughout the Scriptures. The story comes to us in four chapters, and in this sermon, we look at the final chapter found in Revelation 21:1-4. God Himself will dwell with His people in the New Heaven and New Earth forever. As we live in light of the end of the story, we strive to live God-centered lives in the present.

Marriage
05/06/2018 Duration: 35minGod's good design for marriage is a beautiful picture of Christ's love for His bride. Due to the effects of sin, both husbands and wives wrestle to fulfill their God-given roles. Only the grace of God and power of the Holy Spirit will enable us to reflect the Gospel rightly in our marriages.
-
Vivification
27/05/2018 Duration: 37minGod's people are chosen and beloved. As His children, we are called to put on certain qualities and pursue Godliness for His glory. We follow the example of Jesus by extending forgiveness towards others, and long for the peace of Christ to rule our hearts.
-
Put Sin to Death
20/05/2018 Duration: 34minIn this sermon, Pastor Justin unpacks Colossians 3:5-11. The text lists a number of specific sins, but the underlying issue is idolatry. Many of us tend to cuddle with our sin instead of putting it to death by the power of the Spirit. One of the ways we seek to put sin to death as a church is by regularly confessing our sins to our brothers and sisters.
-
Christ Our Life
06/05/2018 Duration: 30minAs Christians our life, hope, and identity are to be found in Christ alone. Our right standing before God is not on the basis of our own righteousness, but the righteousness of our Savior.
-
Giving
30/04/2018 Duration: 32minThe Bible addresses the topic of money repeatedly. The way we handle our finances can reveal much about the condition of our hearts. God the Father gave us the ultimate gift in the person and work of His Son, and we are called to live generous lives as disciples of Jesus.

We Are: Worshipers
08/04/2018 Duration: 37minGod has created us all to worship. All of us will give worth and value to something in our lives. The question is: to what? Sunday morning Gatherings allow us to gather as worshipers of God and remember his truth so that we may live lives ascribing worth to him and him alone.

Easter Sunday
01/04/2018 Duration: 24minThe resurrection of Jesus has shaped the landscape of history more than any other event. But it's far more than an incredible historical event that happened sometime in the past; it's an event that secures for us an unimaginable future and assures us that Jesus is coming back to finish what he started.
