When Jesus rides into Jerusalem to begin Holy Week, he does so making a statement: that he is King. But he is a king unlike any other—one who uses his power to sacrifice for others, not serve himself.

Paul points the Colossian church to the mysterious, wondrous identity of Christ, showing how the "in him" the dwells the fullness of God. If we want to know God's character or his love, we can simply look to Jesus.
