WTT e38: damnable doctrine
28/09/2019 Duration: 01h37minWith so much division over matters of academia in the Lord's church now days it may behove to have a discussion about exactly what is damnable doctrine or heresy. In this podcast we do just that. This is an emotionally charged podcast. I think it is good for brethren to publicly disagree and still be friends. We do not have to divide along these certain lines that are arguably matters of academic pursuit. Listen in and let us know what you think. WTT e24: Conduct on Facebook
08/06/2019 Duration: 01h08minIn my years of online evangelism I have noticed one constant, folk love to espouse and promote their own viewpoint and opinion. Sadly this translates into a big problem with online evangelism. What if a person always came into your assembly and challenged you when you were teaching. You are teaching the way the eldership wants you to teach but on these matters of judgment, opinion, and grey area someone just always says you are wrong or offers a dissent. You know this would undermine what you are trying to accomplish and it would not be tolerated very long. We need to conceptualize social media in this manner. In this episode Brock, Aaron, and Tony talk about this issue. If you like what we do consider becoming a patron: www.patreon.com/nearchurches
