Light On The Hill

Pastor James Kaddis is about to begin a series in Colossians. And as this study goes along, we’re going to pull back the curtain and see what’s going on in the spiritual realm. As you learn what’s going on in the background, it’ll help you better manage everyday life issues. We’ll spend some time in the opening verses today.

After all the judgement, gloom and doom we’ve ready about, we transition today to the glory that lies ahead of us as believers. It sure is exciting to learn about our future. So much about our immediate future is uncertain but the eternal future of believers in Jesus is secure. And it’s very real as we’ll learn on today’s Light on the Hill. We’ve come to chapters forty through forty-three in our study of Ezekiel. In it, we learn of the Millennial temple.

As we continue in the book of Ezekiel we come to a low point in the nation of Israel’s history. Because of their persistence in idolatry God’s people find themselves in captivity. But God in His mercy sends His prophet to tell them of a new temple that would be built and calls them back to true worship. James Kaddis shares this and more today.

Today on Light on the Hill we finish up a very interesting section of Scripture in Ezekiel 38 and 39. If you’ll recall it’s describing a future invasion upon Israel by surrounding nations. And God’s intervenes, to protect His people.

We’ve been making our way through the Old Testament book of Ezekiel with Pastor James Kaddis. Chapters 38 and 39 tells of a confederation of nations that rise against Israel in the end times. But God, faithful to His people, defeats this army and saves His covenant people. Pastor James tells us all about it today.
