Revelation - Today we'll be hearing an introduction to Revelation, setting the stage for what's to come in the weeks ahead. There are some things you need to know about the book, before we get underway.

We take you through a chapter in Ezekiel, that we believe is actually formulating before our eyes, today on Light on the Hill.

If you were with us last time you’ll remember we began to look at a prophecy concerning Israel’s complete renewal and total restoration. Israel was totally divided and then scattered all around the world but God, just as He said, has brought them back and made them one nation. Hear more about this remarkable prophecy today.

The last 13 months or so have been a real challenge! And maybe you feel as though you’ve been hit with one impossibility after another. But when God is in the mix there’s cause for hope. As we continue in the book of Ezekiel we’ll hear a prophecy concerning Israel’s complete renewal and total restoration. And if God can do this for Israel there’s hope for us as well.

As we continue in the book of Ezekiel, we’re reminded God’s people failed in their witness and were chastised for it. But that’s not the end of the story! God promises to forgive and restore them. While it may sound way too good to be true – it is true.

We’re told in the Bible, whom the Lord loves He chastens. So, He must really love Israel. And He does! We see it not only in their past, but their present and future. Israel is a testimony of God’s love and meant to be so. That’s highlighted for us today on Light on the Hill.

Revelation - We begin the book of Revelation today. Pastor James will lay some important groundwork, with this introduction, so we get an idea of the message contained in it.

As we open Ezekiel chapter 34 we’ll hear about some shepherds who don’t care for the sheep and what God does about it.

It’s sad to see what’s going on in our government today in this nation. Far too many are more interested in their own selfish interests, than serving the public. As we’ll see today, this sort of corruption actually lead to the downfall of a nation.

Today on Light on the Hill we pick up where we left off in the book of Ezekiel and we’ll be reminded that God speaks to His people expecting them to obey. He wants to bless them, but that comes though obedience.

There is none that are righteous, outside of Jesus Christ. And that’s why we need to turn to Christ by faith. That’s emphasized in Ezekiel chapter 33, and where we’re headed today on Light on the Hill.

Today on Light on the Hill we notice the responsibility the Watchman on the Wall had in Ezekiel’s day. They were to warn the people of what’s coming. Let them know there’s danger ahead! Pastor James Kaddis believes this is a powerful word to those in the ministry.
