Progressive Voices

As Taylor Swift reminded us, “haters gonna hate.” We are awash in a sea of hate, some of it targeting the trans community, some of it aimed at hospitals and doctors who would dare to save the life of a pregnant woman if it means aborting an unviable fetus, some of it at gays, Jews, Browns and Blacks, and plenty of it at Democrats. There’s no shortage, that’s for sure. I’m not sure if the fact that this kind of identity-hate has been with us since the nation’s birth is comforting or not. We take a look at it and try to provide a little context in today’s piece. I hope you’ll listen.
