Today we talk a film with one of the most interesting production stories. Pulgasari is one of North Korea's biggest was produced by Kim Jong Il who kidnapped on of South Koreas most prolific directors Shin Sang-ok to make the film. He also kidnapped his ex wife famous actress Choi Eun-hee and forced them to remarry.The couple eventually was able to escape to safety and find asylum in the United States where you'll never believe what children's franchise he helmed (hint: it involves a few ninjas).
