    15/08/2016 Duration: 40min

Never heard of Fist of the North Star. Don't worry nobody else has either. This American remake of a classic Anime has some of the best schlocky deaths we've seen.   Fun Fact: Gary Daniels loved this movie so much he named his child after his character.

  • Episode 8 - The Final Girls (2015)

    18/10/2015 Duration: 13min

To celebrate our 31 Days of Horror, we take a slight departure from our normal obscure schlocky movies to talk about the new meta horror film The Final Girls from 2015.    Final Girls was directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and stars Taissa Farmiga, Malin Akerman, Adam DeVine, Thomas Middleditch and Alia Shawkat.   This movie is definitely worth checking out, you can rent on Amazon Instant Video here: https://www.amazon.com/Final-Girls-Taissa-Farmiga/dp/B0152ZZS04/ref=sr_1_1/ref=sr_1_1?_encoding=UTF8&keywords=final%20girls&qid=1445208414&sr=8-1   Music is Girls and Boys by Blur. • Episode 7 - Deadly Friend (1986)

    03/10/2015 Duration: 36min

To honor the passing of legendary horror director Wes Craven, we decided to talk about a film that he publicly disowned Deadly Friend after the studio made him transform it from a sci-fi romance story to a horror film.   This movie is a rare film with 0% on rotten tomatoes and it deserves better. I'd say 2-3% higher.

  • What the F#*K did I just watch Episode 1 - Kool-Aid Wacky Zany Video VHS

    19/08/2015 Duration: 17min

This VHS is crazy. Mostly a combination of public domain footage mixed with Kool-Aid commercials and some of the dumbest logic games I've ever seen...Not Much else.    A bit of History: From the early 1980s until 2008, Kool-Aid ran a promotional deal with now-defunct toy outlet Kay-Bee Toys known as the Kool Aid Points program. Kids who drank Kool Aid could cut out the point coupons on the back of each product and send them in to trade for merchandise like toys. This 30-minute video was one such possibility.

  • Episode 6 - Skatetown USA (1979)

    23/06/2015 Duration: 45min

It's hard to describe just how amazing Skatetown USA is. But we try. Chase and Nick sit down with D.S. Cohen as he talks all about his all time favorite movie. D.S. was the host at an Alamo Drafthouse film screening of Skatetown USA for it's Weird Wednesday showcase. Patrick Swayze in his first movie as a badass gang leader who also happens to be a figure skating ballerina stripper. The valley dude lead actor Greg Bradford would go on to become a composer of 90's adult films. It's also a who's who of seventies television stars. Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady) contributes who cocaine addiction to the filming of this film. There's Scott Baio who clearly doesn't want to be there. Ron Palillo (Arnold Horshack from Welcome Back, Kotter) plays a psychotic gang number 2.  A Wizard DJ that creates skaters from lasers shooting out of his hands and does a pretty good Peter Lorre impression. The unknown comic appears both in and out of the mask. Plus Billy Barty (Gwildor from Masters of the Universe), Flip Wi

Our throwback episodes are from our original Youtube video podcasts. Directed by makeup and special effects bad asses Screaming "Mad" George and Steve Wang, the film is loosely based on an 1980's anime. We talk about how the film can never seem to figure out it's tone (blood and guts mixed with cartoon SFX), the brilliance of David Gale(RIP), Mark Hamill's costume choice(WTF) and if anyone has even heard of this movie.   For more video reviews, follow us on twitter @filmsagainst and email us movie request at filmsagainsthumanity@gmail.com. • Throwback Episode 1 - Cyborg (1989)

    14/04/2015 Duration: 12min

Our throwback episodes are from our original Youtube video podcasts. To watch the video check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSdJT5gU-Dg On our pilot episode, Films Against Humanity watched Albert Pyun's Cyborg from 1989 starring the Muscles from Brussels Jean-Claude Van Damme.  Recycled from the corpse of the abandoned Masters of the Universe 2 film, Cyborg is a low budget "thrill" ride set in a supposedly plague infested future. We talk about the history of the 1980's b movie kings Cannon Groups (can you guess how many films they made with American in the title?). We also discuss Ice T and talking super dolphins, dirty sunglasses and why Van Damme was sued because of the film.Spoilers for Cyborg, Masters of the Universe and Johnny Mnemonic. • Episode 4 - Left Behind (2014)

    08/04/2015 Duration: 39min

Nic Cage is an airplane pilot who spends the whole movie trying to land a plane. Oh yeah, and the rapture happens.   This is the second film adaptation of the best selling 76 part book series. This film holds a 2% score on Rotten Tomatoes and I'd say that's being pretty generous.   For more video reviews, follow us on twitter @filmsagainst and email us movie request at filmsagainsthumanity@gmail.com. • Episode 3 - Valley of the Wolves: Iraq (2006)

    26/03/2015 Duration: 34min

The movie with the potential to offend nearly half the worlds population, we watched Valley of the Wolves Iraq from 2006.     The film stars Billy Zane as a evil Christian zealot intent on killing everyone to maintain "peace" and Gary Busey as a Jewish doctor that harvests subjects organs.    Based on a popular Turkish television show this was at the time the most expensive film and highest grossing ever in Turkey. Probably Propaganda. Likely Divisive. Definitely Boring.    For more video reviews, follow us on twitter @filmsagainst and email us movie request at filmsagainsthumanity@gmail.com. • Episode 2 - Pulgasari (1985)

    18/03/2015 Duration: 27min

Today on our first audio based Films Against Humanities, we talk the 2001 Christian film Escape From Hell. With a mashed up plot that is part Flatliners, What Dreams May Come and Sex, Lie and Videotape; this film is a beautiful mess. Be prepared for the ultimate in amateur acting and effects. The production company (DRC) that made this actually tells you that if watch football in place of Minister John Hagee televangelism you will rot in Hell for eternity. This movie changed my life, will it change yours?
