Today I welcome Jen W. Back to the podcast for her 3rd guest host appearance. Jen takes me to the historic town of Gettysburg where we tour the battlefields, shop at adorable gift stores, enjoy AMAZING wood-fired pizzas (that is plural!), and top it all off with homemade ice cream. You guys are in for a real treat! This podcast's Signature Cocktails come from two different directions. Our first is the Flying Fig. Here is what you'll need to make your own: 2 fresh figs 1/2 oz St-Germain elderflower liquor 2 oz vodka 1 oz fresh lemon juice 1/2 oz agave nectar Ice Mint Chill a cocktail glass in the freezer. Coarsely chop figs and place in a cocktail shaker. Add elderflower liquor and muddle. Add the vodka, lemon, and agave. Fill the shaker halfway with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into chilled glass. Smash mint leaf to release the oils and rub the rim of the glass.
