Heading for Green, State College PA
09/08/2020 Duration: 52minEP 36 - Welcome to summer and being in the GREEN! In order to escape the yellow we head to an area where things were just beginning to turn around. My co-host, Jen and I head up to State College for some dine-in eating, Trader Joe’s, ice cream, and light shopping for “inappropriate” grilling accessories. We discuss the day’s delights outdoors at my house as well as my new discission to become sober. Something a little different, rather than a Signature Drink we have a Signature Treat. It's called a Dole Whip and to make your own you will need: 1 bag of frozen pineapple I can of full fat coconut milk 2 TBSP of sugar or sugar substitute Ice cream maker (optional, but recommended) Whipped Cream (optional) Blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. You may want to soften the frozen pineapple chunks just a bit. Pour into ice cream maker and process for about 5 minutes. You may opt out of using the ice cream maker, but your whip will be less smooth. Freeze any leftovers for future serving.
