Noelle: So, thanks Betty, and thanks Ralph for letting me talk about Lynne. This is Noelle Hanrahan, and I just have incredibly fond memories of Lynne and the fact that she was such a righteous political compass. Like when I needed to figure out something or think about a political struggle, if I would talk to Lynne about it, I could get this amazing, electric, defining information.I was really welcome. She didn't pull punches, and I really appreciated that about her. She said what she thought, she did what she thought was right no matter what, and as many people have said tonight, with incredible courage. I also really liked Lynne 'cause she was super funny. She cooked a lot and she cooked really well.There's this je ne sais quoi about life. Like she just had a real sense of enjoyment of life and that came through in every single thing she did. This one time, one of the first times I met her, I had her reading a piece by William O. Douglas that was about when night comes into darkness, and she was reading it
