Leaders matter in all areas of life, the same is true in God's family. The Bible calls the leaders of God's church "Elders", and today we got the honor of appointing new Elders to Reach's Leadership Team.

1 Cor. 1:4-9 Paul reminds us in word and example to Thank God for His work of salvation even when the situation is full of difficulties

1 Cor. 1:1-3 As Paul begins his letter to the Church in Corinth, he reminds them that their identity is found in the God who calls and qualifies us for ministry.

As we begin our series through the book of 1 Corinthians, it is helpful to know as much as we can about the background.
