Ep 3 - Jamie Benning from Filmumentaries
08/07/2015 Duration: 41minUp until now my interviews have been with 80 yr old men who were famous for wearing white suits. Jamie Benning is not 80 yrs old and I’m not sure what colour suits he prefers. Jamie is not a star from the 1980s. He’s the same age as me but he is championing movies from the 80s by means of his fantastic filmumentaries. See my recent blog post for more info about his filmumentaries and you can also visit Filmumentaries.com. Watch my Twitter feed later today where I will be running a competition to win a signed poster from Jamie. Massive thanks to Jamie Benning for inviting me into his home and letting me interview him for the podcast. You can view Jamie’s work at Filmumentaries.com. Ep 2 - Brian Jackson - The Man from Del Monte
27/05/2015 Duration: 37minTo all fans of the fantastic Del Monte TV commercials, I hope you enjoy this interview with a charming and fascinating actor. I’ve got lots of happy memories watching the Del Monte commercials and watching Brian travel across the globe, tasting fruit juice with local fruit growers hanging on his every nod. They really are classic commercials and it was great to learn a bit more about the man behind the fedora. Huge thanks to Brian Jackson for taking the time to appear on the podast, being an amazing guest and for letting me into his home. You can find more about Brian Jackson here. I hate the sound of my own voice, but I think everyone does, and I never thought I would do a podcast. However, I was offered the chance to interview Alex Cord from Airwolf and, I mean, who can refuse that? It really was fantastic to speak to Alex and I could have spoken to him all night. He's a fascinating man and a true gentleman, and I got so engrossed in the other interesting parts of his life that I didn't actually manage to ask him all the retro Airwolf questions that I had, which is a shame as I'd love to ask him a few more questions about Airwolf but we just ran out of time unfortunately. But I do hope that you find the whole inter
