Synopsis

Cast Macabre runs a wide range of stories from all around the world. Some have classic supernatural tropes, others just take the every day to the extreme, some make you laugh, others shudder, but they're all delightfully dark in some way, and all high quality. We've run stories by new and upcoming authours, as well as established writers, such as Tim Pratt, and the Bram Stoker awarding-winning poet, Marge Simon. Past narrators include, Norm Sherman, Alasdair Stuart, Rish Outfield, and Julie Hoverson

So, I made a new website, which I couldn't afford to maintain, and I have only just managed to get around to getting the old website back and remove the redirect! I only managed to put out one episode on the new site, and here it is. The date of this post doesn't match when this episode was originally put out. I'll look into making sure the iTunes feed is functional. While I have no plans to resurrect this podcast from the dead, at least now the archives are reopened! I am due to discuss future plans soon with my crew over at Cast of Wonders.Narrated by Bob EcclesClick to play or download the MP3.Show NotesMusic provided by Mevio at Music AlleySound effects from the Freesound Project

The proper authorities were notified and the local British magistrate dispatched a military escort to investigate. The ship was identified as the Sparrow, which port records showed had departed from Cape Coast, Ghana only 16 days before.Click above to listen to the rest of the short story.
