The Hobbit has become one of my favorite Lord of the Rings movies because of two things: two villains who should be put in the movie villain hall of fame, like, tomorrow! I’m not going to reveal it here because that would mean you don’t have to listen to the episode. But what two villains from The Hobbit can you learn from about how to be a villain? I’ll give you a hint . . . it ain’t Count Dooku!

In this episode, I go in a slightly different direction, opening up my DVD collection for a bit of a “retro” review, taking a look at the classic Superman series of films (skipping two of the best in that series, for reasons that will be apparent in the episode — don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll address those two soon enough!) and exploring why these movies are great, in spite of being about Superman. Superman? More like Stupidman! I hope I’m the first person who ever used that joke, because it’s pretty good. But these movies have the best villain of all time, and this is the best version of that villain, and in this podcast episode I explore why. And I reveal my softer side, talking about my favorite Thanksgiving Day tradition . . .

This week, my favorite anti-hero: James Bond, in the latest in the increasingly weirdly named Daniel Craig series! Skyfall? What is that?
