The Skoden Chronicles is an independent media platform for one angry Ojibwe boy. The podcast looks at contemporary indigenous topics and concepts that are relevant in many indigenous peoples' lives, and twice a month Ashley Courchene and his guests force different ideas through a fine mesh screen of theoretical and practical de-colonial frameworks. Of course, he also sprinkles his own weird and sometimes dark NDN humor all over the place to give Skoden Chronicles that special something-something.Skoden is Native slang for 'let's go then', especially when you wanna start a fight. And Ashley and his guests fight. They start a lot of beef because podcasting is like jail. Sometimes, you just have to assert yourself.#skoden
