Music and travel have always sat closely in my soul. The openness of travel - connecting with new people, getting absorbed in new culture, living deeply in the moment - has sealed strong emotional ties with the soundtracks that cloaked my journeys. My dirty breaks set from the Dusty Rhino Thanksgiving Underground. Hidden away in a warehouse in San Francisco's SOMA district, 500 animal-clad dirty music lovers joined the Dusty Rhino and our 50 foot laser-shooting Giraffe in what may have been the best Thanksgiving Party EVER. There really is nothing like a good day party in San Francisco! I had the pleasure of playing in blissful weather in Dolores Park yesterday - the cultural (counter cultural?) center of SF on a sunny day. Wow! Last night's Aurora in White underground boat party was hands down the best party of the season. Tucked in the back of a pier in the San Francisco Bay, the old cruise ship, its passengers glowing white, got dirty until well after the sun shone over the Bay Bridge.
