Synopsis
Drunk on Media is a creative endeavor spearheaded by me, Zack Latino, a fiction writer with a passion for media in all forms. While I can talk on and on about my favorite movies, tv shows, and video games, and I will on occasion, my first love is storytelling. Drunk on Media is the springboard to a full content platform where I will pursue my passions while utilizing my skills as a writer, not only by creating original fiction but also giving my perspective on different aspects of storytelling in tv, movies and sometimes video games and music.Throughout this podcast, I will be presenting original short stories with a mix of genres including but not limited to science fiction, horror, literary and fantasy. This is the first episode in a short story series titled "Charavale" which is aimed to look at a new form of science fiction set in a near future world where technology and humanity are intertwined. The goal for Charavale is to look at how technology can shape humanity from how we look at memories, remember our past, and even strengthen our relationships with loved ones. The pilot episode looks at a long forgotten mall in a tired midwestern town. A city building inspector is tasked with cataloging the passage of time and finds a lot more than just a long dead mall.
