We have a vision of a big God who gives big grace to His small people. This means that we will build a worship space that will prioritize worship, and bringing more people to worship.

Thomas’ temptation was to disbelieve the resurrection of Jesus. Once he saw, he believed and obeyed. Our temptation is to believe but not obey. What will respond like Thomas?

Followers of Jesus can have peace through the mission we are on. It’s not an easy mission but it is a joyful and life-giving mission. 

The resurrection was first revealed to an outsider woman who then became the first witness. This gives us hope that we can both receive and witness to the resurrection today.

We have varying levels of courage (like Joseph of A and Nicodemus). Responding to the grace of Jesus’ death and resurrection means using what courage we have to serve Him.

Be a light to the world where you are

Here we see that Jesus’ cross was truly part of God’s plan all along with the fulfillment of 3 prophesies as well as the fulfillment of forgiveness for us. And in His burial, we receive evidence that this was a real historical event as we await the resurrection.

The scene at the cross unfolds to show us what God has done in Christ—something of infinite value. Every person either joins the crucifying soldiers or stands with Jesus by the cross.

As we faithfully risk to share the Gospel, God will be glorified and people will be filled with joy.
