    Since 2018, Walfredo Reyes Jr. (Wally) has been the drummer for Chicago and he was the band’s percussionist for four years before replacing longtime drummer Tris Imboden.But the Chicago gig is just the latest in a long career that includes stops with Santana, Traffic, Lola Falana, Lindsey Buckingham, David Lindley and Steve Winwood. Reyes is also an accomplished solo artist. His album of world music rhythms “WalllyWorld” was released in 2016 and features contributions from his Chicago bandmates, Keith Howland and Lou Pardini. In 2018, he released the live album “Jamming at The Baked Potato,” which was recorded at the iconic LA music club.Both a “man of the people” and drummer’s drummer,” Reyes, when not touring or recording, is a highly sought after clinician, who shares his love for drumming and expertise in Latin beats and rhythms with audiences across the country.Reyes will be kicking off the Chicago 2020 tour when the band opens its annual Las Vegas residency at the Venetian Theater.
