Metal As Medicine

ArkenFire is recording their first full length album at  Arc House Studios in Kelowna, BC! They have been working hard new material for some time. New tracks have rotated their set list and battle tested with the live crowd. Netto, Randy and Ian give an update as to how the drum recordings are going.

Kelowna's newest slam deathcore band Planetkiller recently played their EP release show. This also happened to be their very first time playing live! Naturally we had to catch up at Muninn's Post and discuss the new EP Treachery as well as what it takes to get up on stage and perform their first show!

This episode also includes the interview with Christopher Bowes (singer/keytarist) from Alestorm.Alestorm recently sailed through Kelowna and stopped at the Rutland Centennial Hall to perform all their greatest pirate metal hits and classics. They were supported by Aephanemer, Ravenous (Calgary), Nomad (Vernon) and Traceless Dimensions (Kelowna).

Back to back discussion episodes without a band interview. This hasn't been done in a few months! It doesn't mean we are done with the interviews we have lots of people to talk with. For this episode though we pile up the album discussions to three. We dive deep into the new album by Tool along with discussing debut releases from BC local progressive metallers Apprentice and Seattle heavy metallers Greyhawk. Both of which put out debut releases which are both stellar in their own ways.
