We welcome Victoria Fulcher - Raggs  Victoria Raggs is the Co-Founding Executive Director of the Atlanta Jews of Color Council. She is a progressive intercultural strategist, DEI consultant, and disability rights advocate. Victoria lives and works at the intersection of Afro-Caribbean and Jewish identity.  Her activism seeks to normalize, affirm, and elevate the multidimensional identities of historically excluded people through discourse and advocacy around justice and equity.   This year, she was nominated among Atlanta’s 10 Inspiring Black Women Making History, by Best Self Atlanta Magazine, and a 2022 Fellow of Jewish Women International’s Jewish Communal Women’s Leadership Project. Victoria is actively engaged in the Jewish community currently serving on The Governance Committee for the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta,  on the Board of Directors at the  (JF&CS),  and on the Board of Counselors for the American Jewish Committee’s (AJC) as a Co-Chair of the Atlanta Black/Jewish Coalition. She has taught in Detroit, Michigan, Oakland, California, Newark, New Jersey and finished her career in Florida. Renee spends her time in retirement writing. Her love of writing has yielded a nonfiction book, Crazy in the Classroom, about her experiences in inner city schools. She has, also, written a screenplay about a young black woman who pursues a vicious street gang for killing her mother. Recently, she has completed a poetry book entitled, Rapping Black Inventors, Poetry in Motion. This book features 50 African American inventors. Renee is, also, an influencer on Tik Tok with over 21,000 followers. As a creator, her content is specifically designed for women of all colors, as she addresses issues like being independent and self sufficient. Ginger Ridge is a place in the region of St. Catherine Jamaica. It sits high up in the hills of St, Catherine and is closer to Clarendon than it is to Spanish Town the  capital of the parish. The Ginger Ridge Primary School was once a booming school in the hills and was labelled at one time as the Ginger Hill University. The school now has a population of 50 students spanning the six grades 1-6. A year and a half ago, the school recently got a new, young and vibrant principal in the person of  Mrs.Kimetha Francis who vows to bring the school back to its former glory. The school's motto is "Be the best that you can be". Since becoming the chief teacher, Mrs. Francis has created a Facebook and Instagram page to highlight the school and its achievements. On July 1, 2022, the school embarked on a trip to Funland Jamaica in Kingston where the children had fun fun fun. He sits as an advisory board member at Death Penalty Action and is the founder of “L’chaim! Jews Against the Death Penalty.” Michael is a former Jewish prison chaplain and psychiatric hospital chaplain. Currently, he is a multi-faith hospital chaplain at a federal hospital in Maryland.
