Synopsis
Change Your POV Podcast Network is comprised of veterans and veteran advocates hell bent on providing as much value as possible to service members, those in transition, veterans and their families! We have multiple shows per week starting off with Motivation Monday. This is a quick weekly quote read by a member of the network and what that quote means to them. Tuesday is a show about veteran mental health hosted by Duane France called Head Space And Timing. This show will kick typical mental health stereotypes in the teeth! Wednesday is brought to you by Jeff Adamec our resident SOF operator bringing a totally new perspective on life in his show Changing Hearts And Minds. Thursday we go out doors with Andrew McDowell our non-veteran, veteran advocate as he shares with us his new explorations in Neophyte In The Woods. To close out the week wee we still have ATTACK Friday, this is where Eddie Lazzari and Bennett Tanton bring you Actionable Tips, Tricks, And Coachable Knowledge. We dont slow down! The weekend offers Behind The Curtain This is a Saturday show that is a grab bag of behind the scenes shows from all the show hosts and their families. Last but certainly not least is Kevin Fairbanks with his show Remove Before Flight. This Sunday show brings a wealth of knowledge about entrepreneurship, marketing, branding, and everything in between to help you succeed in whatever venture you are doing. At 17 years old, in 1995, Jeff Adamec, Joined the United States Army. Leaving for Basic Training the same day he graduated from High School. He was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division as a Combat Medic before volunteering to go to Ranger School. He then began his service as a Ranger Medic in 2nd Ranger Bn 75th Ranger Regt. In 1999 He tried out and was selected into the US Army Special Forces. He changed his job to a Special Forces Weapons NCO. Jeff would go on to be awarded the Silver Star for the Battle of Debeka Pass in 2003 Iraq. After 6 total Combat tours to Iraq

EP144: Not Everyone Gets Out On Their Own Terms - With Steve Palacios
11/01/2017 Duration: 50minSUMMARY: This week we talk about how sometimes we don't always get out of the service on our own terms. During high school, Steve Palacios joined a youth program called Civil Air Patrol, which is an auxiliary of the US AirForce. After high school, he went straight into the AirForce, ended up as a Crew Chief on the C-141-C. After boot camp, Steve was sent to Sheppard AFB for track training. Towards the end of the program, he thought with the wrong head and was caught in the med student dorm when he wasn't supposed to be. This lead to an AR 15 proceeding, which ended with a sentence of 30 days correctional custody. Since I was a young Asshole, I ended up being rejected from the program after 28 days and a general under honorable discharge after only 9 months of active duty. This lead to an AR 15 proceeding, which ended with a sentence of 30 days correctional custody. This ultimately ended his Air Force career. 09/01/2017 Duration: 37minSUMMARY: The 82d Airborne Division, the “All American” Division is an active-duty, modular airborne infantry division of the United States Army. From 1917 to 2017 this highly esteemed and decorated Division has left its mark on the landscape over conflicts around the world. Humanitarian and disaster relief missions both in war and in peacetime are amongst some of the most untold stories of this time-honored division. The Division is stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, one of the largest military training areas in the world. The 82d trains for airborne assault operations into enemy-denied areas, with a specialization in airfield seizure. The 82nd Airborne “All American” Division is currently under the command of the XVIII Airborne Corps, and is the nation’s Global Response Force. No other division can quite fill this critical role! Once ordered, it can mobilize, load, and land anywhere in the world in less than 36 hours to perform combat operations, assist U.S. allies, and provide humanitarian assistance.
