  • Wisdom Wednesday: 24 is Enough

    31/07/2018 Duration: 01min

24 hours a day. On average 8 are spent at work 8 asleep 2 to eat and 1 for the loo So with 5 hours left what do you do with the rest? Read a book Watch Netflix Have family time Meet friends Hit the gym Work on your side hustle Go for a run Watch YouTube And the list goes on... But whatever you choose to do in those five hours you won’t be able to do it all So what you truly value will always rise to the top You might say I have no time, I’m so busy but the reality is that you find time for what you value. The question is what do you value? What do you hold dear and what are you pretending to hold in high esteem that your actions are not supporting. You prioritise what you value so maybe it’s time to change your values.

  • Wisdom Wednesdays: Every pain passes

    17/07/2018 Duration: 01min

Some struggles are no struggle at all when you realise that every pain passes, every hurt heals, and every emotion has its moment. We can't expect the good but then be taken by surprise with the bad. Life moves in patterns and cycles and as long as you're here, you ain't got no choice but to ride. The 45 degree angle on that hill looks mad scary, and you'll probably get hurt on the way down of course, But staying on your seat and, going through the experience is better than jumping off midway So I guess what I'm saying to you is, pain is part of the process and discomfort is the only way that you experience true growth There is meaning in your struggles, and hope in your suffering, if you don't allow the process to mess with you. You are much stronger than you know And you're built to withstand more pressure than you could know at this moment in time So picture being ahead of the pain and experiencing the triumph after the trouble

  • #13: Dreams and Light Bills

    14/07/2018 Duration: 23min

Head to sdnty.co.uk for the show notes. send me a message at : brad@sdnty.co.uk Today we talk about the realities of chasing your dreams. Don’t make snap decisions, set realistic goals and time periods and make sure you protect your time during each day. No day obsessed on one thing along works out as health in the long run. There have been times in the past where I just wanted to pack in my conventional job all together right that min and just go hard for my dream, however that is not always the best choice. Sometimes you have to logical think about it and set realistic targets, sometimes it will take much longer than you wanted, but it’s better than empty pockets and broken relationships.

  • #11: Experiencing Self-doubt?

    28/06/2018 Duration: 27min

The thing about self doubt is that it might very well be based on how you believe others might see you or your abilities but what I have to remember is that no one knows that inner me, that voice in my head or my historical experiences like I do. So it will be much much easier for me to doubt myself then it would be for another to doubt me because they haven't seen all my failures, they don't know all my weaknesses. When self-doubt is looming here are some of the things I do to get out from under its cloud.
