Chris talks about the importance of the neutral practitioner and seeking permission from the client before beginning body work. After sinking into a muscle or trigger spot, we wait for it to melt and follow the line of tension. Once relaxed and open, layers of physical, emotional or mental conflict rise to the surface. It's in this "stillness beyond the storm" that healing happens. We have limitless capacity to heal when we trust that inner space to feel safe in it and hang there a while. It's the stillness beyond that initial sensation of relief and takes patience to reach. That's the secret!
